This hotel is located directly across from the sea. Check in was achieved via the restaurant, a very warm welcome greeted us on arrival. All staff were so friendly, very helpful dealing with food allergies and with early morning starts for breakfast. Restaurant food is truly excellent and deserves a higher rating. The best halibut I've ever had. Slept well in a very comfortable bed. An excellent shower in the ensuite. Bedroom is well equipped with toiletries, hair dryer, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel in a compact car park. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel is tucked away in the middle of town, with several options for sitting/dining, a well stocked bar and a lovely garden with covered and play areas. Breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the one dinner we had was fine, so we can't comment on the menu further. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The tea tray was welcome and well provisioned. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.

It’s in a great location for visiting Aberdeenshire and the hotel is a fabulous place to stay. Our rooms were great, spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a great hotel. The breakfasts are varied and a great selection. We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner at the hotel each night and everyone enjoyed the food it was first class, the portions are really big but you do get a choice of full portions or smaller. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back

The restaurant was very good value for the menu choice and quality of the meals and drinks, service was excellent on all 4 nights, the breakfast menu and service was also excellent. We would recommend this hotel as an excellent venue for touring north-east Aberdeenshire. There is plenty to discover within a 1 hour drive radius.

My wife and I spent a lovely two nights at this hotel whilst exploring Aberdeenshire. This hotel is more for business people and probably oil rig workers and is not a holiday destination. However, having said that, management and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well run despite Covid restrictions. Thank you one and all for making our stay very welcoming.
