Located in Castiglione del Lago and with Perugia Cathedral reachable within 28 km, Isola Polvese Resort provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a restaurant. We had a lovely stay at the Polvese resort. The atmosphere on the island was quiet and relaxing, we visited the beach and walked around. The stuff was super friendly, spoke English, and the suite we stayed in was adequate for a family of 2 adults, and 2 little children. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast is very good, we chose to eat outside in the shade, it was great. You can park your car on the street or on the large public parking near the ferry for free. The ferry ride to the island takes about 12 minutes, the cost is 4.20 euro per adult. Bear in mind that the last ferry from San Feliciano leaves at 19:00

Set in its garden with furnished patio and surrounded by the countryside, Le Macerine offers free WiFi throughout and a free swimming pool. We loved this place. We felt at home straightaway and there's a really nice, relaxed vibe to the place. The room was comfortable , the breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was fantastic. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in this town on a hot day in the summer as the lake isn''t ideal for swimming.

The Belvedere is a family-run hotel in Passignano Sul Trasimeno, on a gentle hill 10 minutes' walk from the centre. lt offers an outdoor swimming pool and free parking. It's an family-run hotel, old but very neat and clean. The owner was extremely friendly and welcomed us as very special guests and met all our needs. The breakfast was simple, yet very delicious, including home-made cakes - yummy! It's 10-15 mins walk from the marina, have a pool, free parking, and there's a supermarket nearby.
