Recently, I had the privilege of staying at a local boutique hotel that, quite frankly, has set a new benchmark for service and facilities. As someone with a Marriott Ambassador Elite membership, my expectations are often skewed towards the loftier side, especially given my experiences with global giants such as the Saint Regis in Rome. However, this boutique hotel not only met but surpassingly exceeded these expectations. On a Saturday, with time pressing and an impending wedding, the hotel staff showcased their dedication and efficiency by promptly pressing two suits, two shirts, and a dress – a task many establishments might've balked at given the short notice. But they didn't stop there. In Italy, Sundays are traditionally a day of rest with most establishments closed. Yet, this hotel demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their guest's needs. They managed to send someone to ensure that I could get a pedicure and a hair wash and style. Such an extraordinary level of service is truly commendable, if not unprecedented. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be better situated. Nestled in the heart of the town center, it provided the perfect base to explore the charming streets and partake in the local culture. The proximity to major attractions, shops, and eateries meant that everything was within a stone's throw, adding another layer of convenience to our stay. To conclude, this boutique establishment is a testament to the fact that sometimes, local experiences can outshine even the most esteemed international brands. It's not always about the name or the prestige, but the heart, passion, and commitment to service. I am wholeheartedly impressed and without a shadow of a doubt, will be staying here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Located in Tarquinia, a few steps from Voltone Beach, Smy Civico Zero provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely just plain fantastic. The room was spotless , the sunset view on the ocean was awesome and all the staff’s kindness and efficiency could not have been better. Having travelled the world for the last 30 years and having stayed in hundred of different hotels, if my wife and I would score our best hotels, this would be one of the top 5’s. From the front desk reception with Stephano, who helped us recharge our cell phones to the extraordinary service in the dining room with Guiseppe and the hearty breakfast and great capuchinos served with a big smile by Tatiana,along with their talented chef Alieuh, they have succeeded in providing us with memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks so much to the staff of Civico Zero Hôtel you guys deserve a 10…….

The property is a gem. The owner Garmy didn't go the extra step--she went the extra mile to help me. My GPS that came with the rental car did not show her road and I couldn't find the B&B. She met me downtown tarquina and had me follow her to the B&B. She also had me follow her to Civitavecchia to return the car to Avis and took me to my hotel there before catching my cruise ship the next day. Even after I was so upset when I could find the B&B. The room was so beautiful and perfect. She treated me like family.

The best of this camping was that is was right on the lake.. how great is was to get up and to enjoy a great swim in the quiet waters, with the most fantastic view.. The camping was very wel organized. the camping shop had everything even fresh bread, there was animation in the evening, and there was a bar with a nice terrace. We even saw that there was a surf school. The village is a bit far by foot I guess, but we had a car ( there is a great parking for the cars just outside the camping) and then the village is easy to reach. The old part is amazing and the boulevard has a nice turning wheel which alows you to see the lake from above. We only stayed one night, but it left us a great memory. Certainly a place I would like to go back.

Really nice camping in the shade of old trees. The bungalow was well equipped, clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment. Small terrace had barrier, so kids/dogs can't run out. The mini market had fresh bread and basic groceries. The beach is nice, clean, part with dogs is just next to the non-dog area. Both has umbrellas and sun beds.
