Comfortable rooms, each with a view of Gocta Falls. I love that each of the rooms has a balcony. Staff were helpful in scheduling transportation, and breakfast was enough to fill us up. Showers were hot, which is not always a given in this part of Peru!

The room was clean, good size and comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful. We had a great view of Gocta waterfall from our room and of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. The hotel is real close to the start of the hike to the waterfall, and a short walk to the center of town. Breakfast is at a local restaurant and he'll take you in his mototaxi if you want. And has hot water for the shower.

A lovely homestay in the heart of Cuispes. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here as well. Hot shower, comfy bed and wifi. They helped us get to the waterfalls as well. It's more remote than most towns, so you need to try and plan ahead a bit, like what time you want to eat, what time you want to go somewhere etc. 10 soles per person in a mototaxi to get from Pedro Ruiz and 10 soles per person to get to the start of the waterfalls (don't walk, it's 5km, uphill on a dirt road).

The city is really nice and calm, I felt super safe there.
The city is really nice and calm, I felt super safe there. The bad thing is that there's no much public transportation if you wanna do the tours by your own w/o an agency. The food is really good, there are many restaurants around the plaza. You can go to el Batan del Tayta, Cafe fusiones, Amazonas 632 I think was the name.
