A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

Set in Chivay, 200 metres from Chivay Arena, Colibrí Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located (easy walk to main square but far enough to be quiet). The staff (Lisbeth) was especially helpful and accommodating, allowing me to pay in dollars and making a very good breakfast early (5:40am) just for me.

The furnitures are very new. I love the quality of towels. The room has a balcony too and I really enjoyed the sunset there. The grandparents running the hotel are the warmest people. I was quite upset at a tour agency upon arrival. They kept checking on me when I’m downstairs to make sure I’m ok. And they told the guide to look after me. It’s so nice to have people like this when travelling overseas.

Sonqo Killa del Colca is set in Chivay, within 3.8 km of La Calera Hot Spring and 3.8 km of Colca Archaeological Natural Museum. The place is very good value with what they offer. Definitely very comfortable to sleep. They have free breakfast in the morning which was average. The location is 7-8 minutes by walk from the main square. You can book without hesitation:)

Tucked away in the impressive Colca Valley, this rustic-style inn features thermal baths, one of them being covered, the others being opened, all of them, nestled in a majestic landscape with a view... Excellent hotel with different pools of thermal waters and a good restaurant. The landscape is amazing, as the hotel is located within the canyon and just next to the river. Stuff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again

Casa Andina Standard Colca lies in Chivay at the edge of the Colca Valley. This secluded hotel features traditional stone houses. the property looked nice and my family and I had a wonderful stay! the rooms had heating and looked lovely. It was also located super close to the main plaza and restaurants and small market.
