Set in the heart of Piran Old Town just steps away from the seaside promenade, Second Life in Piran - Hotel Zala offers free WiFi access. We ended up at Second Life at the last minute after a bad experience at another hotel in Koper. It was a very pleasant surprise, everything was perfect. Friendly and helpful staff, large and functional room, super clean, excellent breakfast. It's the best place we stayed during our 3-week trip in Slovenia.

Situated in the Old Town of Koper, Hotel Koper is set right on the seafront. It features a bar and à-la-carte restaurant that offers a spacious terrace. The Capra restaurant was outstanding. The chef, Marja, prepared an amazing vegan dinner that was not exactly on the menu and proved just how talented and creative she is. The dinner rivaled any Michelin Starred restaurant. Additionally all of our room requests were met. We had a room with a view towards the oceanfront and the most comfortable bed. The bed was huge, like a California King sized bed. We stayed a week and found plenty of things to do around Koper and surrounding area, including biking and swimming. This is our second stay at this hotel and definitely will not be our last, we'll make it a yearly holiday.

It was a great pleasure to spend out vacation here. We literally loved everything! Reception team, consierge, bellboys, maids, pool staff, staff at breakfast, bar and Sofia restaurant - everybody was very helpful, friendly, polite and attentive. Many thanks to Maria from reception, Alina and Nikolina from the breakfast and everybody from the pool staff. The rooms were extremly comfortable - with nice and cosy furniture and great view from the balconies. Cuisine at the restaurant “Sofia” was incredible - one of the brightest gastronomic expiriences we had in years. We loved to spend time near the pool - thanks to location in a quiet and picturesque area and attentiveness of the beach staff. The building of the hotel is magnificent and very beautiful.

Breakfast is great. Overall highly recommended.
