My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kalloos Island Backwater Resort, and it was an experience we'll cherish. The hotel is quite new, and we had the unique opportunity to be among the first guests to enjoy some of its facilities. What struck us immediately was the attention to detail in the hotel's finishes, which exuded a sense of luxury and comfort. The food was a highlight of our stay – simply outstanding. We recommend asking for recommendations to savor the local dishes and the freshest seafood. It's a culinary journey you wouldn't want to miss! Having traveled around India for over a month, we can confidently say that Kalloos Island Backwater Resort stands out in terms of price-quality ratio. It's definitely one of the better places we've stayed in. The host deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were always on hand to ensure we were well taken care of and made us feel incredibly welcomed. The host went above and beyond by arranging sunset and sunrise boat tours, and we even enjoyed kayaking. The convenience of setting off right from the property's gate was a fantastic bonus. In summary, our stay at Kalloos Island Backwater Resort was nothing short of wonderful. It’s a place we would eagerly return to and highly recommend to others looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with a touch of adventure.

A lovely peaceful place to stay if you are looking for complete relaxation. We had a lovely big room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Beautifully kept gardens. There were several types of rooms within the property, villas , studios and pool villas. Huge property. Beautiful lake views. Lovely pool.

Everybody works so hard, taking care of the beautiful surroundings and making sure you have the best possible time while you are there. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Kollam isn’t really on the tourist trail apart for its own backwaters that rival Alleppey so most people who stay at the hotel are Indian tourists or businessmen but I was treated with courtesy and respect, the food offered was excellent and the staff helpful

Housekeeping staff lady was very good she arranged the baloons for my kid knowing it’s her birthday and restaurant staff also managed to get us a birthday cake. Even the breakfast spread was very good with decent options.
