How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room & Facilites are very good but the restuarant was not working, I appreciate the staff (Hema, George, Gena & Anter) all were freindly & helpful. Actually, we enjoyed in the apartment.

The maintenance needs some work - we faced issues with some of the faucets leaking water (particularly the washing machine’s faucet) and the kitchen ceiling was leaking as well. There were also no towels in the guest bathroom and every time we put towels, the cleaners removed them for some odd reason. Additionally, one night of our stay, we came back to our hotel room to a letter saying the water will be cut off from 12 AM to 5 AM for maintenance. Imagine our shock to this having not received any prior warning and coming back to our hotel room and not being able to shower or use the toilet. It was entirely unprofessional and very inconvenient.
The cleanliness of the place was excellent and the staff were very nice. They responded immediately when we faced any issues. The location is also very good as it is close to most places. Parking was always available which was great - the entrance is also very close to where you park so it was very convenient.

The shower! The half glass door didn't keep the water from leaking out. The shower head was not powerful.
Spacious apartment, very clean, close to metro. Kamal and his team were great. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

The apartments are surprisingly big and have all you need for a short stay. The location is really good and easy to walk to Mall of the Emirates, take á metro or á taxi. There are two super markets few meter s away with good selections.

There are two things I didn’t like, first there was no complementary items in the apartment ( tea,sugar, coffee, ext) Second thing they don’t provide toothpaste & toothbrush as most hotels do

It’s very perfect property for family, wide area of suit, location very good and closed to Mashraq Metro station, few steps to market and opening 24 hours with very vital place included Restaurants, cafes, etc. Staff very wonderful and smiley always, property very comfortable included a good gem and swimming pool on the roof which very perfect in sun day.

The apartment is very dark. No light. First day I saw an insect inside the room which was very disappointing. The othwr day, I faced a problem with the hot water in the shower and they couldn't fix the problem till the day after

The windows sliding didn't cover the noise coming from outside but it was not that bad, we got used to it. There was no sponge or liquid to wash our dishes, as a personal opnion, this should be done by the guests and it should not be something to be done by the cleaning team, but they did it anyway. The electricity safety switches go off( and also the fridge) if you iron the clothes and have the washing machine on. Not a pinch of salt in the kitchen.
5 minute walk to Mashreq metro station. Friendly staff Cleaning done daily, towels changed daily. Water supplies given each day. We had almost everything we needed. Very spacious suite.
