We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

They have very rigid systems in place. Booked it for my mom as she was traveling alone and she is a heart patient. She landed to ensure she visits the country every 6 months and maintain her resident visa status. The next flight was 18 hours away, but they wouldn’t let her in as she did not have her boarding ticket which you can receive only 4-5 hours before the flight.

United Kingdom*The hotel is located in the departures area of the airport, through security.* So, if you intend on arriving the night before, you will be unable to check in to the hotel until 6 hours before your flight. We had to seek help from airport managers to get our boarding passes printed early so that we could get to the hotel. This took 3 hours to do, and we still encountered resistance from security. Airport staff will not let you through in any other case. The rooms are quite small, and the wetroom style bathrooms mean that the whole bathroom becomes soaked once someone takes a shower. No extractor fan either, so the steam can set off the fire alarm if you're not careful.
The beds were comfy, staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was very easy once we got past security. Ignoring the hassle to get inside, the location is quite good.

United Arab EmiratesAs the hotel is located in the transit zone, the airport staff informed us that without departure tickets, we would not be able to access the hotel. We only had tickets for arrival. The hotel did not provide this information on Booking.com, so we were unable to access the hotel, and they did not refund us for the missed visit. Despite our requests for a refund due to incomplete information provided about the stay, the hotel has not responded.
