There was building work next door!

Very good holiday, staff were amazing, always helpful, service with a smile. Food was really nice, and we found the all inclusive served an OK wine and good beer. Our waiter from Sri Lanka was excellent.

Nothing much really.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We travelled with a group of friends and were probably a bit noisy when hanging out around the hotel, however the staff approached and treated us with utmost respect and courtesy. Much appreciated.

Large building site next to the property which started work at 7am and continued right through to around 10pm. Constant deliveries being made to building site throughout the night. Due to the location taxis are required to go everywhere. £35 for a breakfast per person which was very expensive and not worth the buffet style breakfast. Due to the location and no amenities near by the hotel was very expensive costing £15 a pint of beer.

Perfect location at the Palm if this is the type of break you like. Staff were friendly and attentive. Upgraded/ changed to another room after complaining due to a large building site next to the hotel.

When we checked in we were told that we have been upgraded to a room with a balcony. When we got to our room and went onto the balcony we were shocked to see a huge construction sight right outside of our room. This was disappointing as it was not the amazing Dubai view that we were expecting. The problem was not just the view, it was that all day every day from 7am there were men working in the construction sight. It was so close to our room they could see in if we had the curtains open which meant that every single day we kept the curtains closed and had no daylight as we felt like we had no privacy at all. The hotel giving us a room with a balcony to compensate for the view did not help us as we never wanted to open our curtains, never mind sit on the balcony.  I have emailed the hotel about this a month ago and still have not heard back from them.

Property was super clean and the staff were friendly. Beach access was really nice.

It doesn’t really feel like a “5 star” experience. The location is not bad, but the hotel is surrounded by construction sites and the all-inclusive offering at the bar is highly limited. Activities are very expensive and overall, there is no exceptional service to underline the hotel’s 5 star status. Having stayed at over 10 different 5 star hotels over 2023, I would rank this as a very good 4 star establishment.

The staff are exceptionally nice and friendly. They take the effort to remember your name, proactively greet you and ensure you are always comfortable. The food available at the meal time buffet is also consistently amazing!

The food/drink issues. Apparently not all drinks are included, you can only use the buffet style restaurant for lunch, breakfast and dinner. If you wished to use the grill restaurant then you had to pay with a small discount although we were all inclusive

The staff were lovely and extremely friendly and helpful. However, we were not informed of the building site which was next door with the ongoing construction of a new hotel. Constant loud noise all day whist trying to sunbathe. Banging, drilling, cranes being used and delivery vehicles bringing materials.
