Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Arab EmiratesBed was comfortable enough, although had some tears and the spring was sticking out so I got some scrapes. Had some disturbance in using the lift as other customers were smoking inside the lift, and had an encounter with some drunk guests.
Location was good as it is near establishments. Staff was hospitable and friendly. It is good enough for the price paid.

During my first and last stay in Novotel Hotel Al Bustan, my worst experience felt embarrassed in front of my friends who visited us, rudely approached my mom during breakfast, and didn’t like the way they approached me as well. Swimming pool area we enjoyed but need to educate the receptionist about customer service. United Arab EmiratesWhen I checked in, several things were out of order, so I had to report to reception and get technical support for fixing them which was not so pleasant experience. The fridge and Telephone were not working. The reason I believe: There is no proper process either established or followed by the housekeeping staff. At least it can be checked before letting the guest in.
The location of the property is perfect. Having an in-house nightclub and bar is fantastic. There is lots of free parking around the hotel, which was also very convenient. Yet this was the cheapest one I found in the city during my stay.

United Arab EmiratesHouse Keeping needs improvement. The bathrooms need an overhaul as the floor is definitely very old and the shower curtain rods rusted. Only one towel was provided instead of two towels.
Excellent location in the heart of Fujairah. Most facilities nearby the hotel including rent a car, grocery and a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

hotel building and furniture was old, not bright as in the pics on the website. All rooms are for smokers (I have been told so) so a terrible smell was in the background. The toilet did not have window (I was not able to change my room, so I don't know if this applies only to my room)
