All reception staffs need to be trained. When i checked in young lady didn’t even smile and greet me. She is with trainee name tag. I came and im the one who greet her by saying good afternoon. During checked in time she didn’t even try to chit chat like how front desk should be. And she gave me room which is not ready 808. And I was in corridor with imran (bellboy) waiting for another room. This is unacceptable! How u guys let guest wait in corridor waiting for room ready?! Also all front desk staffs don’t know how to pick up the call . All staff only said ‘reception, can I help u’ that’s it. They didn’t even greet by saying good morning/afternoon/evening and didn’t even mention the name of the guest (I stayed 7nights which is long stay). When i checked out also front desk didn’t ask anything like ‘how was your stay, where u will go’ those are basic questions need to ask by front desk to know and make guest feel happy even still I booked their taxi to drop me to Sharjah airport but front desk staff only take money and my room key. All Front desk staffs are really really really need to be improved their performances. I rate this hotel 9 because of bellboy and Jason housekeeping. I will probably visit Dubai again December Christmas time and will stay again to your hotel , I hope all are fix.

I stayed 7 nights in 809. I really Thank to Imran (bellboy) and jason (housekeeping) both are amazing. Both are not only professional but beyond my expectation. Both are really know how to treat guest. Big thumbs up for both of you guys.

Terrible shower, no control over water temperature and water pressure was weak. The biggest problem was the smell of smoking on all the floors as you got out of the elevators. Room needed a bit of updating, especially the bathroom as the actual shower was in a dire state. Couldn’t control water temperature, it wasn’t consistent at all, either going extremely hot or freezing cold no matter where you had the tap and the water pressure was too low making shower/bath times a lot longer than normal. Room needed a deeper clean, switches and mirrors were grubby. Also, it advertises the hotel is behind the Mall of the Emirates, implying it’s near……it’s not! It’s a long way ‘behind’ the mall of the emirates, a short taxi ride away unless you’re able to walk 15/20 minutes in the extreme heat. The air conditioning worked but the vents looked broken.

Staff were all outstanding and friendly. Lobby and restaurant nice and clean. Lovely quiet room. Breakfast buffet, but could have been hotter as the air conditioning cooled food down by the time we got to our table.

Rooms seemed to be quite old. Replacing the bathtub would be better for a good soak. :)

The receptionist upgraded my room to one of their gigantic rooms available. :) Don't need it as I am alone, but I really appreciate it tho.

Unfortunately they had to close the pool terrace in the evening. The free drinking water in the room is provided in small, ordinary plastic bottles. This creates so much plastic waste! The bottles should be made of eco-friendly material. Nowadays, there are solutions to get rid of plastic consumption.

The friendliness and service orientation of the staff. Mohammad, at the reception when I arrived, helped me with anything I needed. He made that my arriving was very pleasant. All other colleagues are also always ready for help. The breakfast buffet was very good. And the staff there repeatedly checks whether everything is available and OK. On the roof there is not only a pool, but also a whirlpool. An overall very good value for money.
