How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s quite far outside of Dubai. No change for a quick trip to the mall as it takes at least 45 min without traffic.

The breakfast... TOO MUCH PEOPLE. Impossible to reach the buffet and to take what you want. Never got my hot drink. It's really bad organized. This time we had a room above the reception above the lobby and it's too noisy. Ask a room in the building around the pool.
Amazing as usual! The location is perfect for the motion gate or Lego land (tickets included in the reservation). The hawaian style is incredible

the change actually of which theme parks you can visit, previously it was stay one night visit any 3 parks on 2 days. but now they've changed it to be depending on how many nights you are staying at the hotel which at this case not really worthy compared to the value you are paying staying for one night you can stay at better 4/5 star hotels in the center with lesser price
the room size was just good for a family made of 4, we had 2 kids ( 3 years and 1 year), the location ofcourse its close from theme parks and outlet village a recommended place to purchase brand at good discounted rate perhaps expo city though its considered far from Dubai City . the kids club team upon knowing its my son birthday the next day they've requested us to visit where they had a surprise in place for our son which was singing a birthday song and handing over a post card highly appreciate the thoughtfulness of Tara, Sadeepa and Ojo

I had a fantastic experience at Lapita! The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast offered a delightful variety of delicious options, and the balcony provided a breathtaking view.

Sometimes overdoing it with the cleaning service - if You have the sign on the door for a few days that You do not need cleaning, then I think it is not necessary to call the room @ 9 pm to check if we still do…. The pedestrian road made of rubber-like material should be fixed around the hotel (in the back & side against the park) - it was broken already 2 years ago and now it has only gotten worse - just clean off from the old rubber material and replace with contemporary pavement materials - it does not look nice when You go for a walk or jog.
The location - it is perfect as the Dubai parks are so close and You can visit unlimited (if You get the package with the hotel) amount with Your family. I like the greenery and infrastructure around the hotel area, which is nice if You like to go for a jog. At the hotel territory there are many nice areas - lazy river pool area, grand deck in the main building etc. Staff of the hotel are very, very nice and always very helpful! Great job overall!

Cleanliness of the bathrooms could be more thorough. Also, the bathrooms need maintenance. Especially the shower cabins which require better insulation as all the water from the shower just goes all over the floor. The sink as well, the design of the water mixer needs to change. The mixer is too short and when you wash your hands a lot of the water just goes on the countertop.

The bed is way too high for fam with small kids. Plus the blanket makes this papery sound (we didnt like it) everytime you move. Pool was good but would've been better if there was an actual deep part in it.
Its clean and spacious property in general. Nearby parks too.
