The pool would often be closed for cleaning in the morning. Pool supposed to be open at 8h30am which wasn’t always the case. With young kids I wish the pool was open earlier and always available. We had to use the other pool on the other side by reception. Just inconvenient with small kids

The warm welcome from reception staff, friendly waiters. The sea view, big bathroom with all amenities included. Clean and comfortable bed with tea and coffee station. Quiet and relaxing stay.

The staff are all lovely and friendly, but some need more training in their communication and customer service skills. When you are paying 700aed for a snorkelling trip with children, there is an expectation that the children will be able to participate. Instead, the watersports team were unhelpful, almost blaming us who were trying to find solutions. The manager was extremely unhelpful at the start of the trip. In the end, we enjoyed it but there was no shampoo for the goggles; things didn’t seem well organised. Also, this hotel has incredible wildlife opportunities for its guests, which should be shared more. (As we have been a lot, we are aware, but other guests clearly have no idea they are close to beautiful turtles, rays, sharks and fish) The entertainment at the weekends has also declined. There used to be a team with dancing, music, singing and performing skills, and now there is a reliance on a screen and the audience to provide the entertainment through games/karaoke. Plus, everything is in Russian, whereas before there was music in Spanish, Arabic, French, English, Russian, Portuguese. It’s a real shame.

We have been going to this hotel for the last 5 years and love its location on the water with so much marine life nearby. It’s a stunning spot.

The room is just fair with the price, i just dont like the sofa, it’s stained already. Also, there’s a lot mosquitos at night time, it’s not fine with me since I have a child.

The room smelled humid. The security at the entrance gate is waiting in the car by saying that reception is busy. That was not the hospitality of Stars hotel, however the receptionist,a girl from Turkmenistan,made it better by upgrading our room.

If the buffet breakfast area was busy, staff were not always quick enough to clear tables for new diners or open up more sitting areas for us.

We were upgraded and given a slightly bigger corner room to best suit a family. The room was lovely and very well equipped and decorated. We had easy access to both the beach and 1 of 3 pools. The visited during on of UAE's cooler rainy days so didn't use the splash areas a much as we liked as it was a little cold. But the size of the 3 pools was very impressive. There was a lovely short promenade to walk along, great view of the sea and rocks beyond. The beach was very clean and plenty of sun beds available. We did use room service and the food provided was very tasty. The breakfast buffet offered a diverse selection of food to suit picky children - fresh fruit juices, teas & coffees, pastries, hot side dishes, omelettes, pancakes/waffles and condiments. There is much around the hotel itself, but we did find a very short and easy hike of the mountains opposite. If you have a car there are a few parts of the area you can drive through but just the usual supermarkets and roadside cafes. Kalba in Sharjah would make a good day trip. Overall, we had a lovely 3 night stay.

1) Resort has a checkin time of 3:00 pm and for us checkin was further delayed by 1 hour ,as room was not clean. So we were checked in at 4:00 pm 2)We opted for all inclusive option but this is extremely overpriced ,as the restuarant for all inclusive option has very limited menu and definately not a five star buffet. Most of the items on menu were common in Lunch and dinner Live counter had only pasta available for lunch and dinner. 3)I requested for King Bed option , staff declined telling me that if we need King Bed then room will not have a good view , (i had booked a premium room ) 4)I requested for water at the restaurant near one of the pool , staff declined stating it would open only at 11:00 am, ( it was 10:55 AM) 5)Hotel lobby is small - for a five star resort

- Resort is located in a remote area in Fujairah and our room had a balcony which very close to the beach with a very nice view - Multiple swimming pools available for adult and kids - Water Activities available for additional costs - recommend to try them - Deep sea diving available for (additional costs) - Staff was polite and helpfull , especially staff ADEL who was very kind and supportive , appreciate him sincerely

Although the rooms are on the simpler side but the bathrooms can use renovation.

Despite the repetitive comments about the condition of the rooms and attitude of the staff! I can say that this is one of the best and most friendly hotel staff in all over UAE. Although it was holidays and the hotel was fully booked but the service was perfect and very quick. Special thanks to Mr. Jeff at the reception and Mr. Rami Al Bawab, whom I've seen him checking on the Hotel facilities all the time.

Towel distribution center were located far off from beach.. means it was difficult to Walk in hot sun and get towels from 1 extreme locations on the beach. Check in was too crowded and issuance of key was messy process.. on Friday 3 PM Bathroom jet spray was not effective as water force wasn't enough.. So assume the rates of AED 1800 for above check in was hurting us.

I think the place needs some maintenance and renovation, Some of the furniture and cupboards could use an upgrade. Didn't get hot water in all the taps. Lots of mosquitoes in the room.

Maintenance is poor. The sofa smelled like unwashed socks. TV remote not working. The spa area had lack of service, the sauna in both male and female sections had no bucket of water. Steam room in the male section was not working. The worst part is having breakfast at breeze this morning with the dish washing area door is open, and not cleaned grease trap is causing stench all over the place.

Food is exobirant expensive considering value for money we have many resorts where food is very better / value for money be it Vida Resorts Cove Rotanna Taj in Dubai Lapita Dubai Le Meridien Fujairah Food is expensive not value for money only downside + Not great offers for Alcohol within hotel

The whole place needs an upgrade. Furniture looks really old. Room towels are too small. Prepare for noise coming from the highway behind the hotel.
