It was not that busy while we were there so many of the normal facilities or acidifies were not operational or toned down The property although close to the airport and a private beach is a far and expensive cab ride from everything else With the prices they charge they raise the bar on expectations and they failed to meet it The food onsite was average at best and not many options around that are close. Zero value for money on the on-site food and unless you ask you sometimes have no idea what your food comes with or how it’s prepared Some of the waitstaff were not very friendly or accommodating At the rates they charge you expect too notch service and amenities so for us the value for money was not there

The five days we spent there we had no hot water. We even ran out of water (cold) on multiple evenings. They said they were having a maintenance issues and tried to fix it. But it kept happening everyday ! Also, the resort was kept quite unclean. The pool deck always had leftover cups from the day before, and the pool was quite cloudy and filthy so was the hot tub as much as it was so pretty to sit in I found it to be quite unkept and honestly disgusting. The beach loungers I have cushions that are completely ripped and do not sit on the loungers, and there was never enough to go around for everyone.

We spent five days at this resort. It is an excellent location and view. The infinity pool is gorgeous and the staff are very well trained and friendly. It also has its own little private island, which felt like a little getaway on its own.

It would be great if the hotel could consider hiring more staff to clean the glass interior of the building, as it can really impact the overall impression of the hotel. A clear and spotless glass is always a sign of quality and attention to detail, and it can make a big difference to guests. Regarding the taxi service, it might be helpful if the hotel could consider setting fixed prices for the rides or working with a reliable taxi firm to ensure that guests are charged a fair and reasonable price. Alternatively, guests could also consider renting a car or using public transportation. Finally, it would be convenient if there was an ATM available at the hotel to provide guests with easy access to cash. Breakfast should be included in the price at least.

The hotel is a true beauty, situated in a location that's hard to beat. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the restaurant manager's kindness every morning during breakfast, and the hot tub bar staff were equally friendly and attentive.

We weren't very lucky with the weather, couldn't visit Prickly Pear much due to rough conditions. There was only 1 bin in the bathroom, should have a bin in the main bedroom too.

We arrived the next day after the hurricane. It was a bit messy, and stuff was moving the furniture from inside to outside the restaurant. We had to wait for a while to have our lunch. During 3 nights, we stayed, the room was not cleaned once.

Breakfasts are great. The room was clean, but we'd appreciate everyday cleaning. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. I'd like to mention the spa in particular. I've traveled a lot and visited many spas in different parts of the world. The spa in the hotel is perfect. Sheneka is a highly professional and very friendly person. I had both body and facial treatment. It was one of the best spa experiences I'd ever had.

From the moment I entered the compound til they put me in the taxi to head to the airport, I felt so welcomed and comfortable. It was a solo birthday trip but I didn’t feel alone. Everyone was so incredibly nice and I enjoyed every moment of my stay. Hospitality was 10000/10! The resort was absolutely beautiful, especially at night. I’ll definitely be back!

The appartment / room we had was really spacious, clean and with great ocean view. When we booked we read that the food was not great but it exceeded our expectations. Also the hotel has a small island in front of the hotel where you can go by canoe or boat (all for free). It is one of the nicest beaches we have seen on Antigua.

bedroom lit up all night as corridor light shines through frosted window pane in bedroom door so exceptionally poor sleep . Quite a simple matter to correct with blinds and auto turn off on corridor light. Also , loos on island have appalling flush which appears to flood the floor… yuk

Unusually there was distinct lack of plugs within the room - which made charging laptops and phones etc very challenging.

The walking areas around the resort are all extremely dangerous in wet weather, me and my partner both slipped and fell badly. Lots of marble stairs with sharp edges including in the apartment, we only stayed one night thankfully, They must have a long list of accident claims I imagine , dont know how they manage to stay like that with out updating or modifying. there shold be timber decking that would elimnate the risk. Place is outdated and must have been desinged by a complete fool.

The food and drinks were over priced and just ok. You are forced to purchase the $30 per person breakfast buffet because a la carte prices were ridiculous i.e. $23 u.s. for an omelette. We had an issue with our room, it smelled like sulfur. I hoped for some type of band or DJ for entertainment during the day but there wasn't any.

The service was good. The staff were very nice. The hotel grounds and pool are beautiful. We had an issue with our room so we were upgraded and comped a meal. The beach and access to the prickly pear island was very nice.

The employees are really rude , specially the ones who work at the restaurant in the morning,always forgot our orders and give us undercooked eggs for my nieces, they only are nice with whoever they want .Always forgot to leave me clean towels, bathroom dirty, mosquitoes inside my room.Breakfast is the same everyday, and everything is overpriced, so is definitely not worth the money.

Everything was perfect.

Incredible resort on a white sand beach, infinity pools, including a private island offshore, beautiful gardens to wander. the property is full of interesting artwork that sets a theme of intrigue and wonder as you walk around the property. There are all sorts of rooms to choose from a standard room to fully equiped apartments with multiple bedrooms. The breakfast is excellent and generous and the restaurant has a high quality menu really great food. There was nothing we didn't like here, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were very lucky to see turtles hatching from their nest here on the beach.

They greeted us with champagne and a refreshing towel at check in, the manager Chantell was the best, so pleasant. The grounds was so beautiful, the room was clean and upscale and the food was immaculate. Breakfast was great...every single day and so satisfying. I would highly highly recommend. My husband and I loved it here.
