Overall good stay, only thing was the bed was a little too hard for our liking, besides that, everything else was good.

The resort grounds were well kept, I liked that every night the dinner buffet was a different style of food. The food variety and taste was good as well. The pool bar and grill had good food also. The beach was nice, lovely sunsets and close to other beaches if renting a car. 20 minutes to St.Johns and overall good stay.

My friend found bed bugs in her room. My other friend bathroom was so small she had to sit on the toilet sideways. The food was mediocre.

No wifi in the rooms and only at the reception which is unimaginable nowadays no water bottles offered in the room and no towel changes in 3 days faulty air conditioner in the room the outside hallway to the room long, narrow and mostly dark making it slightly creepy to walk to the room the doors to the room also very outdated and hard to close ladies at the reception not very friendly have to queue at 730 in the morning to reserve a seat in the one a la carte restaurant only one type of drip coffee

I knew going into it that the reviews were low so I did not expect too much. On the positive note, the food in the a la carte restaurant was surprisingly good. Some staff were also lovely.

I found the staff incredibly rude. The front of house staff gave very limited information and when asked for more they clearly couldn’t be bothered to provide it and were very slow at carrying anything out. I asked for a room clean after day 5 in which I was told no as the staff were ‘too busy’, and then given false information to book for the following day at an additional fee of $10. The bar staff at the ‘long bar’ seemed only interested in serving you if you gave them a hefty tip, otherwise you could be waiting for some time. The staff in the A La Cart restaurant were more pleasant, but overall service was wholly unsatisfactory throughout. It is clear they are trying to make improvements to infrastructure but really should start with the staff as it really puts me off returning.

The beach is beautiful, and the coffee bar is a nice touch. The location was great and very close to Jolly Harbour. The food was good.

Having said the good in the buffet was good that cannot be said for the A La carte restaurant - Only eat there was and the room was awful the Calamari as just batter and all our steaks were inedible Also all the beach chairs / sunloungers need replacing When we were there we were told they were operating 50%of the rooms ( ie those which had been refurbished) and of those about 70% full - I certainly wouldn’t want to be there if it was 70% full of the whole site

We were only staying for a few days and to be honest resort was probably better than I had expected from reviews - Over half the site has now been renovated and the rooms were ok and bathrooms refitted - The food in the buffet was much better than I expected with good variety and regular replenishment plus also 3 instant cooking spots - staff friendly and efficient

The food was fine. Not great but tasty and adequate for the most part. Lunches in the dining room were very sparse and often they had run out of things. The pool bar grill had better food often.

The beach is fantastic. Clear turquoise water. Plenty of loungers. Clean. Huge. Beautiful. The pool is enormous. It’s not deep but is warm and clean. There were never full loungers. SO MUCH SPACE !!! Staff were mostly warm and friendly although reception was frosty and the odd bar or grill staff were very sullen and slow. Judith ( hostess in dining room ) was entertaining and friendly.

Folks... Do not take a standard room....upgrade. The standard room is old and has no dressers or fridge. If u can afford it... U must upgrade. If u just want a tiny room (10x10) and a bed, then it doesn't matter. But definitely upgrade. The rooms are dated. Don't expect 5 star marble pillers and marble floors. This is a 3 star. For some reason room service is extra... Not good Jolly...come on! WiFi is great in common areas. Not so good on the beach and in the room though it varies where u are. Wifi is very fast.

Location and bbq grill and of course the beach. Staff are awesome. Buffet was your typical buffet. Restaurants are very good. Jerk chicken on the beach grill awesome. Beach is perfectly perfect. The staff here are so nice and polite. I felt comfortable with them. Oh u won't find a bad beach in Antigua! Pure white powder sand.

The rooms are very dated. The WiFi was extremely horrible. The pool was dirty everyday we were there. The food was a hit and miss. This place definitely needs improvement in all areas.

Quite a lot of things no longer at the resort and not reflected in the website. Still the best beach in Antigua though

I had been coming here for over 20 years for work and always stayed at Jolly Beach. It simply has not recovered from Covid and is having a major transformation. No outdoor bar in the evening, no poolside entertainment and one restaurant when it used to have 4-5. A shame but hopefully at some point it will recover.

We were unable to use most of the facilities such as the kayaks etc due to the passage of Hurricane Tammy. This is understandable as priority is placed on the guests safety however most of the hotel and dining areas were basically leaking. Some maintenance is required. Additionally our flight got cancelled for 5 days so we tried to make arrangements for accommodation here however it was basically an outrageous cost even when we had limited to no access to facilities and only required food and lodging. The rooms are also so very small.

The beach was lovely, most of the staff is so hard working and definitely take the best interests of hotel guests I'm quite satisfied with the service recieve. Drinks were great, food was okay

That there was no Internet in the rooms, that you had to pay additional for room service, that there were no activities on property for the guest, some of the staff at the hotel were very unmannerly, also you were limited to one two fruits which were watermelon 🍉 and pineapple 🍍

Had to share the facilities with several under 14 girl football teams from the Caribbean, they were unruly and their chaperones did not guide them on proper behaviour. It's hard to pay for a vacation and have to put up with the unruly behaviour that was displayed by these individuals. They failed to realise that the other guests who actually paid for a vacation on the resort were entitled to a vacation and not a school yard type atmosphere. They displayed no etiquette in the dining room and it seemed as if the adults who were with them were just concerned about filling themselves with free food and drink to the detriment of the paying vacationers.

Perfect location, great environment, superb beach, great amenities.
