Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLocation - Nonsuch bay, outside of the hotel doesnt offer much and you need to drive at leave 30 minutes for activities. For groceries, the closest store that was similar to a small supermarket in the US was about 40 minute drive away. There are others closer but offer much much less. Staying here requires a car - but staying on the island, renting a car is a must. Additionally, our room was taken over by ants that kept returning despite spraying with specialized ant spray on multiple days. This became difficult when they colonized the apartment from the couch to kitchen to bedroom and on the bed which made you feel uncomfortable. Lastly, there was almost no one there to check us in and we waited for 40 minutes to be checked in because no one was at the office. Check in was via QR code and there was no checkout process making it seem like staff were distant from the guests except for the security guards.
The room was absolutely beautiful. We had a fantastic view of the pool/ ocean which made sitting on the balcony with the cool breeze fantastic. The kitchen was equipped with fridge, dishwasher, electric stovetop, kettle and microwave. There were no sponges, salt, pepper, etc. The living room had a dining area, TV with netflix. The living area does not have AC but the breeze from outside is absolutely perfect. The balcony is massive and absolutely perfect.

United StatesThe furniture has stains so does the floor. I assume a little outdated. Unfortunately because of Covid there weren’t any excursions available for us.
The staff is so attentive. Andre and the lovely women at the office/ shop are great host. Even the driver Vernon made the drive so pleasant. It felt like a tour. They also have washer & dryer no detergent or dryer sheets for it though.

United StatesI didn't like that there was no staff available to physically talk to. All communication was done via email. We were only given 4 towels (one towel per guest) for the entire week. We were told to use the wash machine. The shower in our room had no pressure upon arriving. Someone eventually came to fix it. The water in my mother's bathroom had a brown tint and smell to it. The only people available to talk to was the restaurant staff, who made it clear that they were not apart of the hotel. The customer service of the restaurant staff was sub par, although the chef was great. The staff and management from 1.5 years ago was so great and a big part of the reason that we came back. Definitely will not be visiting again.
The location of the resort is fine. Its tucked away from everything. Unfortunately, the beach was unsightly as the build up of sea weed and the smell of it was unbearable at times. The resort has really down graded since my last visit.

United KingdomA better equipped shop. One afternoon it shut an hour and a half early without warning. The beach was thick with seaweed which was smelly and made the beach unusable.
The apartment itself was nice and spacious. There were no facilities to get coffee or breakfast. The tiny shop that was on site had no stock so we were unable to buy milk or any other basics for our first morning. There is one restaurant which is not affiliated with the Nonsuch residences (which is good). It is a long way from facilities to get food etc so would need a car or lots of taxis to and from town which is expensive.

United KingdomWhilst we knew the accommodation was self catering there were no facilities on site. The nearest suitable shop for provisions was a 30 minute drive away. Although there was a beach bar this was closed to Residences guests as was the restaurant, which was reserved for all inclusive guests. This was a recent development. The resort has also stopped offering water sports.
Room was spacious and clean. Easy access to private beach.

United KingdomThis accommodation was booked many months ago, at the time of a lockdown and serious concerns about Covid. Consequently, the remote location suited our needs and, at the time of booking, the resort appeared to offer dinghy sailing with a choice of different boats; a great advantage for me, as a dinghy sailor. The boats were not available when we arrived nor during our stay. This is not a hotel; there were only security staff to show us our room, on arrival, and no reception area, bar or restaurant. No food, whatsoever, available on arrival. A car is essential for a holiday at Nonsuch.
Facilities within the apartment were good with large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and kitchen utensils.

the resort is beautiful, has a nice pool and beach (this time of year there were a bit of algae). we rented a car to go around the island so it is convenient if you have a car should you wish to explore more the island. there were still restrictions on the island but staff made it comfortable. ideally bar would have stayed opened a little longer (it closed at 4)

SwitzerlandThe feeling of getting pumped for money every step of the way- even change you 1$ to print the Covid test that you have to have printed , or you could bring your own printer on holiday?
Skeleton staff, remote location, charged for everything including room service (5$) you don’t have a choice as there is never room in the only restaurant of the adjoining hotel. The food is mediocre and is very pricey, but it’s the only option for dinner unless you rent a car or hire a taxi to go to the nearest restaurant which is 30 mins away. No breakfast option at all and lunch is a choice of 3 paninis at the pool bar (18$) There is always a smell of sulphur in the air ( what is that about?), only YouTube and your own Netflix available and that’s always buffering as Internet is sketchy, can’t use your iPad and phone at the same time, the accommodation is dated and in dire need of a refurbishment. Everyone is out to milk the situation including the Doctor for the COVID return test (75$) charges for the test and for the call out (38$) all his clients are call out!! There is no ATM around so arm yourself with cash to pay for taxi, massage, Tours and of course the doctor. Very disappointed, only positive is the staff, that are smiling and try to be helpful, when you can get hold of one, as no one answers the phone before 10 am and after 4.30pm, don’t even try to get someone on the weekends. Would really avoid if at all possible, unfortunate as it could be a nice place under the right management.

United KingdomLinen changed once in 10 days! Villa cleaned once in 10 days! Complained but the customer service ladies couldn't help because management wasn't available and this was their policy. Both toilets blocked and flooded and one was still not usable when we left. AC in the lounge didn't work. As a Residences customer (Villas) I felt like a 2nd class customer compared to people staying at the Escape. Not at anytime did we feel we had a team or a person looking after us we had to chase everything. It's a wonderful facility but Nonsuch Residences failed dismally with their service provision.
Wonderful location and the villa layout works for a family.

United KingdomWhen we arrived, there was nobody at the reception so we had no clue where we were going or what we’re doing for the evening. We received no room number so when we found a security guard even he was confused. After 3 hours of floating around after a long flight the security guard managed to find a place for us to stay. We had several issues throughout our 6 night stay and tried going to the reception but it seemed to be closed. Everyone told us the residence section was separate to the hotel so they couldn’t even advise us on what to do. The water pressure in our apartment was shocking. To flush the toilet we would need to pour bottles of water in the back of the toilet otherwise it wouldn’t work. The showers were dripping water at best, luckily we had friends in antigua at the time so we’re able to shower in their hotels. The taps were just as bad. We found plenty of hair clumps around the apartment too. Generally the tables were filthy and stained with incredibly weird looking things, again we had nowhere to make a complaint it was as if nobody wanted to take responsibility. I’m the end we couldn’t take it anymore so decided to leave one night early to stay with friends. The resort is beautiful from the outside but is very secluded, which is why more than ever the staff should be responsive but this was not the case. Absolute shame really because we are going to visit antigua regularly now but won’t be staying here
The resort itself is beautiful, the natural scenery and pool was very well maintained
