The staff was very hit or miss —some were friendly but the majority just weren’t …especially the front desk. Also we were told our room would be cleaned every other day and on the day our room was supposed to be cleaned I had to ask 3 times. Once I got the manager involved -and he was lovely-then things happened. The food was also hit or miss —one of the restaurants was not great so we just stopped going —the breakfast was however amazing !

The plentiful nature of water sports from stand up paddle boards to kayaks….the multiple pools and restaurants….the excursion desk right at the hotel with amazing opportunities …the huge balcony and view in our room which was not the most expensive ….the activities offered such as games and crafts ….the pickleball courts! The 24 hour coffee shop is something I miss!

No desk in the room to sit at and write/work No shaving mirror/light in the bathroom Rainbow Garden restaurant alive with birds swooping and stealing food from tables, plates and bathing in drinks glasses. Bird poo dropped on our table twice from wooden rafters overhead. Very unhygienic. Waiting staff in restaurants quite surly and under-motivated. Long wait for service in all restaurants including the pay extra Piccolo. Lunchtime burger ordered at the beach bar took 1h10min to arrive !! Expensive daily $26.00 additional "Local & Tourist taxes" added to the pre-paid booking price.

Nice spacious room and very clean. Big bathroom Effective air conditioning Fridge in room was useful Royal suites pool bar staff very friendly Food quality was average (Good in the Piccolo Restaurant) Useful on site mini market

Food ran out at buffet lunch and dinner quite soon after peak time. Not a great variety of some foodstuffs, for example fruit was mainly melon. The sea! Atlantic side was weedy; bayside was silty and not deep enough for swimming though good for water sports.

Private location. Spacious grounds and beaches with plenty of sun beds. 24 hour coffee shop is nice addition Pool rather small.

There could be more loungers around the main pool as it still wouldn’t be over crowded. Saw other people as well as ourselves unable to find seating in various pools. Some of the drinks tasted rather weak. Sometimes waiting to be seated at restaurants was a bit slow although the staff were all working.

Food was good on the whole and the location is stunning. My family were in a villa which was also lovely. Problems were dealt with fairly quickly in both our properties. I had a wonderful chambermaid who was very kind when I had a bad knee.

Choice of restaurants and the menus offered lacked clarity. Took a while to work out which restaurants were open each evening. It would have been useful to have the menus for each restaurant for the next two days (some had to be booked in advance) clearly labelled and displayed. The evening dining service in the Rainbow restaurant was exceedingly slow and the food was disappointing. Fitness centre showers had no place to hang your clothes or change in outside of the shower cubicle.

Spacious resort with two beaches, separating sports from swimming / relaxing. Our room was spacious and next to the beach, lovely to sit out on the balcony. Several excellent swimming pools to choose from. Mostly good quality food. Coco's restaurant had good food and open space overlooking the sea. Singer on the Friday at the reef deck and the magician on the Thursday were excellent. Good location for visiting English Harbour. Very good taxi service.

There were extra charges upon check out. A $24 a day charge for wifi and room cleaning. However the room was cleaned every other day and the wifi only worked in the room. The price of the stay wasn’t cheap, so it was a bit disappointing that we had to pay this when checking out and it wasn’t included in the price.

The property was in a beautiful bay. Plenty to do, entertainment provided in the evenings and easy access to booking day trips from the resort.

The special concierge for the royal suites was never open and so we all had to use the main reception which was so busy. That was a real shame. Also sometimes it felt like we were on a cruise ship - as many of the other guests got up at 6am to "bag" sun loungers and then didnt appear to use them until midday when they would then retire for lunch at 1pm. The entertainment in Docksiders at times was awful I am sorry to say!

The location was fantastic as were the staff - particularly Judy at the bar by the adult pool. The royal area was good as there was a concierge for us to use and it felt a little more exclusive than other areas of the hotel.

Room allocation. It took us 3 hours to get a room, finally being upgraded. When told that our room was ready, we were taken there, but obviously it hadn't been vacated, not even close. Luckily the inhabitants were out! The Manager after some talk upgraded us, to a lovely room. The desk staff not at all friendly, some times, no-one was there at all.

The breakfast was really the only good meal of the day, for us. Pool was very good. lots of chairs available. Bar staff very good.Once we got our room, with some difficulty , as the room we had requested turned out to not be available.

While my room was spacious with a beautiful view, the bed and pillows were lumpy. The shower was covered in black hair and despite mentioning this a couple of times at reception they remained for about 5 days until i called a maid into my room. The room spec is not exactly luxurious in for a royal suite - the shower was basic and the hairdryer fixed to the wall with a short lead, really? I spent over $5k do you think I would steal the hairdryer???? The food choice in the buffet restaurants was poor and the service was not good. I could easily get to the end of my meal without even a glass of water. It seemed that the staff were focussed on the bigger tables of families.

My room was spacious with great views over the bay. The hotel had a relaxed easy going vibe and it never felt crowded; there was no fighting over sun loungers. The dive centre, the fitness centre, the spa treatments were all fantastic.
