Our shower slow drained and tended to flood the bathroom (has a drain). Patio would have been great to have chairs to sit on.

Incredible location with views of Theth, close to Valbona/Theth trailhead. Comfortable beds, beautiful grounds, staff made us feel like family. Breakfast was included and we ate dinner there twice, food was delicious and very affordable.

An absolutely phenomenal stay and I can't recommend it more! The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was outstanding and the location at the end of the Valbona-Theth hike meant we didn't have to wander all the way through town. I can not recommend Villa Gjeçaj enough!

One small thing - the shower had no door or curtain, making the bathroom all wet.

The location was great! Very close to the start of the Theth -Valbona hike. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a good night's rest before hiking. The staff were super friendly, particularly Aida and Marcina were fantastic! The food was superb, we got the whole package - lunch, dinner, breakfast and packed lunch for the next day.

Location was excellent for the Theth to Valbona hike and the Blue Eye walk. The guesthouse was beautiful and had picnic tables to enjoy the views. Staff were very nice and friendly. Meals were home cooked. Highly recommend!

Nothing! Tip when visiting either Valbona or Theth bring enough cash and snacks since only Theth has a small supermarkt and neither has of them has an ATM.

Very friendly and helpful in arranging a transfer to Shkodra. Possibility to pay the room and diner by card was helpful. Location is situated relatively close to the Valbona-Theth trail which saves you some walking distance. Has everything you need when you just have done the trail. Nice garden to relax, good food (diner as well as breakfast) and a comfortabel room.

Amazing! The room and bathroom are spacious. We had our own balcony with an amazing view at the mountains! The stuff is extremely helpful and friendly. One night it was chilly outside and they offered us their own coats so we could stay at the garden and enjoy our wine ;) The food was very good. In the morning we had to leave early so they got up earlier to make sure we have some coffee and breakfast to take away.

Nice, cosy, spacious and quiet room with a pleasant view to the garden. One of the best accommodation during our hike of the Peaks of the Balkans trail. Abundant and very tasty breakfast including both salty and sweet stuff, fruit, vegetables, homemade juices, coffee. Great restaurant with many excellent local dishes (for dinner). Super nice hosts.

Nothing, it’s absolutely perfect

This place is absolutely magical - the location is picturesque, the food is out of this world and the staff go above and beyond to really make you feel like part of the family. We came for my birthday and Marsilda made me the most amazing cake and they hosted a little surprise party for me. We loved it so much we extended our stay. None of the other guest houses in the area even compare - I will never forget this place

We absolutely loved the cozy home-like atmosphere in the villa. The host family was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Food was delicious, room comfy with a great view to the mountains and the garden with all the beautiful flowers, trees and animals. Our host also helped us to get a ride wherever we needed to go.

The shower didn’t drain well at all and leaked, causing the whole bathroom to be wet. You could hear noises from every other guest in the ‘hotel’.
