I did not like the kitchen utensils. They were old and worn out. The stove i think is even dangerous old. With al rust and a big flame coming out.

I recommend to replace the stope top of my room because it is old and rusted and even the utensils are old.

The hotel had 2 blackouts while I was at the hotel: one in the evening before I left and the other just before I was leaving the hotel. I was not informed verbally about the toilet paper not being flushed down the toilet. The cleaning staff had to pump the toilet to clear the toilet paper. I would have liked a few hangers for my clothes. Also I would have liked a cup in the sink area.

I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and hotel meals. The staff was extremely helpful about the facility and tour. They connected me to a tour company. The location was central to the historical Zona Colonial. I could operate the ceiling fan at a temperature that was satisfactory. I enjoyed swimming in the pool daily.

The breakfast buffet, ther e was not much selection. For a place that grows tropical fruits, the shoulsd have more thanone plate of fruits, ie. pineapple, water melon, and mango. I can eat a whole plate of fruits by myself. There was not a lot of selctions, it was minimum and basic. No much for juice choices either. The hotel needs to be updated and remodeled. They keep it very clean but it needs some work. The steel rail on the stair case is broken and when you grap it it falls of, it's danger especially someone with balance conditionsor back or knee brobles. Somene can fall and get seriousl injured.

The staff was really excelent! The nmanager was great and wears very nice shoes. Jennifer, the bartender is great, beautiful and makes you feel welcome. heidi at the front desk is cool and very supportive. The house keeping staff was great and on top of things. Katy? I hope I got ther name right in house keeping was nice, friendly, professional, and also made me feel welcome. For the money I think it was worth it.

My room was right next to the street which i didn't like, but it wasn't bad since at night there wasn't much noise.

Breakfast was great but would love more variety. Loved the food in the restaurant.

The place felt safe. The breakfast was a plentiful, buffet style with a lot of options from eggs, plantains, sandwiches and many more. For dinner the restaurant was excelente the food was tasty and well presented. The staff members were pleasant and helpful. The location was relatively close to the Malecon (shoreline) and the colonial district.

The al a carte menu food was atrocious. We ordered pasta and it lacked salt and the chicken pieces were partially frozen and salt. The fish we ordered had too much white sauce and the inside was frozen. When we lodged a complaint they did not refund us. The rooms are musty so you have buy an airfreshener to refresh the space.

The sheets were superb, very soft. The ambiance is really nice. Loved the pool. The jacuzzi is not warm tho.

Towels and bedding had stains on them. Also, the barman at the rooftop terrace looked like a teenager, took a very long time to mix two cocktails for us (it looked like he was doing it for the first time, he was looking into the preparation instructions) and then the drinks were very weak. I'd say the hotel needs to train him a little better.

It was pretty good for the money we paid! The room was clean, as well as the rest of the facilities, everything worked fine (except for the outlet in the bathroom). The hotel has a small indoors pool with some bar seats next to it and the rooftop bar which are nice quiet spots for hanging out if you don't want to leave.

The room was average. The shower was either very hot or very cold - hot water didn't hold and turned icy in seconds. This needs fixing. The room walls could use freshening up and the kitchen wasn't really usable. Pool and "hot" tub were cold The hotel is withing walking distance of all main sights in Zona Colonial but the immediate surroundings are not great.

How i was told about the bar upstairs during my last day.

There was always a staff member to assist with all my needs. For the most part, it was a quiet experience during night time, and in the daytime, the employees were very energetic, which i didn't have an issue with. Michael Jean was an excellent host.

It could loud outside the hotel, and you can hear it.

Main monuments and historical places are very near the hotel, you can easily walk around them. In a day or two, most of those activities are done (walking). I loved that! Receptionists are great too : Bryan, Mikael and Wilson were very nice gentlemen who could speak our languages, Spanish, English and French.

There were cockroach at the restaurant and the bread had mold. The swimming pool is smaller than looks at the pictures
