We had originally selected another property then read some of the reviews at aregak b&b and changed our minds and stayed there instead. We are so happy we did, the hospitality was amazing and basically the whole experience was amazing. We had the best Armenian dinner all cooked by Marietta and most of the ingredients grown from her great garden, homemade vodka and wine were also served. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better we had breakfast the next morning!! Highly recommend

The host of the flat was the best Armenian aunt you could ever imagine! She was super friendly and helpful. It's a pity that i stayed only for a night, would love to come back :) And we got a private bathroom even though on booking it was a shared one

Marietta is an absolute gem! Guests are greeted with a hug, and tea and biscuits. Her english is pretty good, and shes more than willing to answer any questions you have. And a great cook, and better baker!

Nothing! Everything was great and Marietta took care of everything we needed.

The property is conveniently located close to the bus station and a 24-hour market. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the showers get nice and hot. WiFi is also good. But the main reason to chose this place is Marietta, the hostess. She is the Armenian mother you never had. She is an excellent cook (we recommend ordering the dinner she offers), knowledgeable about the area, and one of the warmest and friendliest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her husband runs the helpful and affordable transfer service as well which we can also recommend. Thank you for everything Marietta!

Staying here is more than just accommodation, it's an incredible warm, cosy, homely experience. Marieta is a very kind and loving person, sincere and open. And a very delicious cook! The food is simply amazing!!! And Carlen is a wonderful driver, we had a great time travelling around. The room is small but everything was really comfortable, nice bed, we had a great sleep. There was always hot water, the kitchen also had everything we needed. Great location, right in the centre. But the main thing here of course is the hosts, we were like being at home as kids, with so much love and care. Marieta and Carlen, thank you, best of luck to your home and see you again!

Stayed here with my wife and we had a wonderful experience. Marietta (the owner and host) is a delight and her cooking is incredible. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. Make sure you request a traditional dinner (at least once) - all of Marietta’s food and drink is organic, homegrown and homemade. Food is served in Marietta’s beautiful grapevine garden. The facilities are also very good and comfortable. We have travelled all over the world and I think this is the best homestay/B&B/guesthouse we have ever stayed in!

Accommodation is nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

Marietta is an incredible host. Sitting under the vines in her garden is unforgettable. And the food! Breakfast was a great experience and the optional dinner blew us away. I am not a big fan of writing rave reviews, but Marietta deserves them.

The host there is great. Marietta is a great cook. Definitely go for having breakfast and dinner as well. You can enjoy the taste of Armenia. Goris is a really good place to stay when you want to do some trips around.

Marietta is such a wonderful host and makes you feel like you are literally at home from the very first minute until you eventually leave, if you are able! The food she cooks is not only the best food I've ever had while travelling, it is as good, or better than any top restaurant, where you might pay multiples for the same privilege. She served me incredibly generous and unbelievably tasty breakfast and dinner in their quaint little garden, where, incidentally, they grow all the vegetables, pulses and fruit that goes into making the same food. This is truly an exceptional place. Understated, but run by people who truly love what they are doing and are proud of their home, garden, produce and cooking. I stayed in the double room, which was really quiet at night. Plus the bed was really comfortable. Full use of the kitchen and ample shared bathrooms as well.

Mariette is the best host we ever met. So sweet, kind, helpful. And amazing cook. The place is also very nice, with a kitchen and good space for working if you are traveling as digital nomad. Also location was good, just a few minutes from Old Goris. Highly recomend, you will feel like at home.
