Love the location, very close to the Main Street where all the restaurants and stores are. Breakfast surprise me; it was very good for the value it has a lot of options and variety.

Nothing really about the hotel. You just need to remember that Ushuaia is very hilly and the hotel is 'up' from the main coast road.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very well appointed with hooks, shelves and cupboard space. The 2 luggage racks were very welcome as you don't want to unpack everything. They even printed out our boarding passes for us. Would stay again.

It is a very cute hotel in a super central location. We only stayed for one night, but we definitely would stay again. I really enjoyed the alpine look of the breakfast area. The selection for the breakfast was not extremely huge, but we found everything we needed.

The Hotel is located on a very steep uphill 😅

I had a great experience in Hotel Austral for three nights. The Staff are super friendly and they arranged for me all the excursions for Beagle Channel and Tierra Del Fuego National Park. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is so comfortable. All what i needed for my stay. The breakfast was good too.

The location itself is not a problem, but there's a dance studio near by. They were teaching their classes late at night, one time 15 past 11 pm. That didn't make any sense at all. Very rude in my opinion, especially being right next to a hotel. The breakfast wasn't all that great, it was just very basic and no omelets or scrambled eggs, only hardboiled eggs. They had ham and cheese, jams, jellies and toast plus other pastries, but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel is very nice and the personnel were outstanding. The rooms are spacious, although the bathroom could use a bit more space. The ambiance is homey and comfy and everything is close by.

I’m very happy for my stay at Austral Ushuaia. I booked for 1 night before our expedition trip to Antarctica. The location is very close to town center and all restaurants/ activities. The room is clean & comfortable. The owners are very nice & booked activities for us . The front desk lady Aracely is very sweet & helpful . It’s ok to pay with US dollar . The casino in downtown Ushuaia is the best place to exchange money , not local banks .

Street parking sometimes a challenge but always a spot somewhere.

This bright, airy, warm hotel is in a perfect location near to the main street. If we could have stayed more days at Hotel Austral, we would happily have done so!

Big room, good bed, clean, breakfast was not bad. Most importantly, the staff was amazing and very halpfull.

I'm sure there is rarely any need for cooling, but the rooms are heated with hot water radiators and the only cooling is opening a window. When we checked in it was unusually warm outside so our room was very warm. I shut the valves on the heaters, and opened the windows, A simple fan would have helped a lot. I also would have liked a small table and chair where I could sit and work on my laptop. Instead I sat in the lounge, near a wall outlet and window.

Hotel Austral is very close to the main shopping/dining district. The management and staff are wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, but basic. WiFi is good.

The staff is excellent! The location is only a few blocks from the main shopping district and restaurants. 5 blocks from the waterfront. Taxis are cheap!

Our room was small and not well ventilated! A bit noisy with nearby dancing studio! Breakfast starts at 7:30 am which is late when tours start earlier! Fortunately the staff does it best to arrange things. Rooms are not automatically cleaned. It needs to be expressed daily on the door!
