Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe beds themselves were not very comfortable, though they got the job done. Also, we didn't realize we'd booked a hotel at the top of a (small) hill, which normally wouldn't be an issue but is the last thing you want after a long hike. We had a couple or miscommunications with the front desk, so would recommend double checking to confirm things (lunch orders, massages etc.)
The hotel was able to put three twin beds in a room for us, which was ideal. The breakfast was very nice, as was the bar service. We had a great view from our room, too! The staff was super friendly, and open to helping us with questions. It was amazing that they had a hiking guide in the bar everyday to answer questions about what we were planning to do the following day.

The view from the cafe is the only thing this place has to offer, but it’s not worth the worse than hostile staff and poor quality room.

United StatesThe staff was unspeakably poor, unprofessional and the most nasty people I have encountered while traveling. Not one day did they clean my room. The room was FREEZING. The view was of a broken fence. It was a small, dark, and loud room with spiders and bugs.

Restaurant food was amazing and had we have been charged the correct blue rate amount we would have been satisfied.

Saudi Arabiathe staff was rude and asked me to cancel my booking and leave after a refused to pay with dolor blue exchange, and kept laying to me about the hotel policy which is not shared on the booking. please make sure that understand that they make you pay a lot more than what’s shared on the listing more than 80%.

CanadaThe standard room we booked was very, very cold and had a licky, water-damaged window. It was impossible to sleep due to the noise the window was making in the wind. We asked to be moved to another room; however, we got moved only the second night. A few days later, we are staying in a similar room in Torres Del Pain, with much stronger winds blowing outside and not felt in the room! This is unacceptable for a hotel of this (or any) category.

BrazilInternational tourists be AWARE. By the time you check in they Will charge you the Double on your reservation in pesos so they keep the benefit of Dollar tarjeta or Dollar Blue for themselves. Other Hotels are doing the same in El Chalten. It is pure internacional tourist exploitation. I had to pay Double and it was already reported to booking.com
