Although the beds were really comfortable, the top bunks were quite difficult to get into. The ladder is just in an awkward position...

The staff are brilliant - they go out of their way to help you all the time and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They really make the hostel! The breakfast is simple but good (lots of it!). There is a great social atmosphere in the hostel. The facilities and rooms of the hostel are quite basic, but they have everything you need, and it is ideal for a few nights to explore Mendoza city and the surrounding area. The hostel has some great recommendations for activities to do in and around the city. ...also the beds are really comfortable! It is great value for money and I'd recommend it.

We loved our stay at Windmill Hostel. A really good size hostel, small enough to meet other travellers easily but plenty of space. The terrace is a great place to sit and chill or have a chat. Beds were really comfy and although the hostel is social, it was quiet at night so no issues sleeping at all. A lovely respectful atmosphere with great staff and guests. Great breakfast too. Special shout-out to Bruce the dog!!

Toilets had very little space

Staff was great always helpful and in a good mood, breakfast was good (bread, cereal, eggs and fruits), close to supermarket and just a 10 minutes walk from the bus stop, beds had individual sockets, you can book tours here, my room had its own toilets and showers, storage of luggage after check out was no problem

Everything was great nothing to complain

I loved how clean the hostel is , how nice the people are and amazing breakfast every morning . I loved the two dogs they were so adorable. This is a very homely and nice hostel and I stayed here for a week or more. To be honest I got emotional a little while leaving because I liked the people here so much. They also do tours and have free wine nights.

The staff are some of the nicest and most helpful that I have had the pleasure of meeting on my travels so far. You get the best tips, even those that are cheapest for you, while the hostel doesn't earn any commission from them. that is very friendly and warm! Furthermore the balcony area is very beautiful and great to hang out.

The best hostel I've ever been to. Breakfast is outstanding, location is just perfect, great atmosphere. About the padlock, I had mine, just because I am an experienced traveller, but a girl there complained because they don't lend you one, and one of the member of the staff told her that they don't do that so they can not have a copy of the keys of people's padlocks, which makes perfectly sense. Btw the staff is brilliant!!

Wifi cuts in and out upstairs Beds for the dorm could be better, but it could have been my mattress 😒. Maybe a shelf on the upper bunks to put your phone and water for the night

Staff( Félix, Javier, Leandro, Ana) and owners (julieta and Dario),,,they are all very friendly, accommodating and kind. Very near the bus station (15 minute walk), center (10 minutes), Parque de San Martin (30 minutes). Very good breakfast…eggs, bread, jams and homemade peanut butter by Dario, cereal, fruits, coffee and tea.
