The room was very depressing. Don't get me wrong, for the money I paid I was more than happy with what I got. But since it was so small, who's idea was it to paint it the ugliest gray/beige color and add bars over the tiny lights in the room. Because of these choices, the room felt like a submarine or a cellar lol Also it was a little disappointing when the lady at the reception didn't know the area that well. I asked if there's any café close to the hotel that she would recommend and she told me that we were in a Serbian neighbourhood and that there are no cafés except maybe in the mall. So... There were no cafés in the mall when I checked (just one with billiard) and outside of that actually a few cafés that she probably didn't know about.

Very close to the Stadthalle and a tram station as well as a shopping mall. The lady at the reception was very nice. There was also a TV in our room which came as a surprise and the free wifi is also a plus.

The hallways were pretty messy and had quite a smell. Also, the windows of the room were towards a large, loud road and not fully closing. For two travelers in a this size of a double room, I would only recommend couples!

The room was as expected - Good Value! The staff was friendly, yet they do not speak German. There is not much space, but enough for a single person.

The only remark would be around the size of the room. There is no wardrobe, just a hanger, and there is not much space to walk around the bed.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the room. Very clean, comfortable bed and decent bathroom with all the needed equipment. Pretty silent place and good obscuring curtains

We had a room in the 4th floor, but the small and old elevator was going until the 3rd floor and after that, we had to go by the stairs. The room was small and uncomfortable due to the dormer window which was right above the one bed. The building was old and located on the avenue, so there was noise from the traffic at night.

The staff were really nice and helpful and the location was nice, close to the metro and tram station. Also, the room was heated and there was plenty of hot water.

- the room was on the first floor: fungus on the walls and in the bathroom, and shower outlet was clogged from the start, - it is not very convenient that glass doors to the floor are not set to the ventilation mode, they can only be opened or closed, - electric kettle on demand: it turns out that it is the only one for the entire hostel, that is, the only lucky person can ask for it (which is strange, kettles are cheap nowadays, it's easy to buy more for the guests).

Great location, good infrastructure around, good breakfast at a reasonable price (even for children), children's corner, bar availability, friendly staff, good condition of textile in a room.

poor staff, I booked late check out but 3 times came cleaning staff without knocking the door in the room from 8 o clock onwards. for 2 beds there were no bed sheets and no covering on the blankets as well as on pillows. after pointing out i got them from reception but I had to put it myself while coming tired from a long journey.

I was at different Hostels from A&O, and one thing is same everywhere, they don't really care about giving some common kitchen service, or making this service a little better. In this regard, I was really disappointed. For ex,, In Venice, they have two Hostels, one kitchen and one fridge. So, I can't even put my stuff in the fridge. In Vienna, was the same issue, microwave not working, access to the kitchen (I had to go to Rezeption, every tims), (Nothing was there in the Kitchen), Small Hostels offer better services in this regard. Please, improve this.

Tiny Not so clean

Since, it was Christmas we took for a high price, and actually the price was not worth it, but the staff was so cool that they approved to cancel the next night and refund me. the room is so tiny, and bathroom as well. I will sleep on it if the night for the double room is maximum 40 euros. anyway location is really really near the transportation.

It was overbooked when we arrived. We were transferred to another location, but it would had been easier for us if we were notified before arriving at the first location.

Room design was not well designed. Congested with family. Washroom is too small. Not near to the markets.

Some staff are really wants to help but they are too much overloaded. Facilities for kids play, drinks, bar & gaming for free time.

Despite the fact we booked the room for 4 people, 2 beds were not made and reception declined the recquest to make it in the afternoon. Only 1 big towel per person.(we recommend adding 1 small towel per person). We paid 1 day parking and were told that it is impossible to leave the car +1h after the check out. Shower doors were broken. The bunk bed is not located properly - top bed should either have fences on both sides or the side without the fence should be fully next to the wall, which was not the case. After positive expereinces in other a&o hotels (Budapest, Hauptbahnhof), Stadthalle did not fulfill our expectations.

If you buy anything Inside hostel it is very expensive. It's double price from market. It's need to manage.

Very big hostel and providing many facilities. Clean and quite environment. But a little bit expensive when you buy some thing from them. 0.5L bottle of water is 3€, normally we bought 1.29€ only. Otherwise all facilities are good and nice staff. Thanks for make my stays happy.

Never cleaned the room, I stayed for 3 nights. I asked for it and they told me they don’t do housekeeping everyday, even when their page say so. Also the woman in reception was rude when I told her the room had 3 days trash, telling me we the guests have to take the trash from bathrooms and room out

bedroom without wardrobe and really really small. I could walk properly and always hurt my legs with the radiator or the corner of the bed to go to the other side as it was really small. we had to leave the luggage open on the floor and other one under the bed because it wasn’t space. No hables, no chairs, anything for the clothes as if you going there for more than 1 night (we stayed two-so it was okay)

We had a problem with the heater and they came really quick to fix it. There is a daily cleaning, the bedroom has a dryer. it is close to a shopping centre, burger, kebab shop…
