How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing really to complain about :) Ah perhaps, the food in the evening at the restaurant could be at a bit higher level, but of course that would come with an even higher price also, so we were happy enough.
Excellent stay. Very good breakfast. Very service minded staff. Really nice with an indoor pool (with sauna and all) to relax in after skiing. Children loved it. Our room was just above the pool so very easy acces. Good cocktails also! All good! They even remembered my daugthers 11 year birthday and decorated our breakfast table for her. Really nice! Very recommendable place!

Very helpful staff. Travelled by train with a young child and arrived slightly early. They pre-confirmed I could leave bags at reception, but on arrival gave us an early check in and room upgrade. Hotel pool was perfect, but free entry to nearby Water Park also great. Breakfast was very good. On the last day we were planning to get the bus back to the train station. However, the owner offered to take us in his minibus which made a long journey easier. Note there is no restaurant in the summer. However, I used the local guest card website to easily find local places to eat

Perhaps it would be good to slightly improve the information for the guest and the preparation of the table for dining at breakfast and dinner by the staff. Finally, personally, the pastries were not bad, but could have been fresher in a little more selection.
The owners are very friendly, helpful and interested in the guest during his stay, if he is missing something. The location of the hotel is excellent for a guest who has come to ski. Skibus stop at the hotel direction to the base of Flying Mozart1 or 2 min walk with skis to the Bergschlepplift and on skis a short distance down to the base of Flying Mozart1. The wellness area with a swimming pool in the hotel is smaller, but pleasant. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel are tasty and of good quality.

The hotel had a lovely welcoming atmosphere, great food and wellness facilities. The interior was very thoughtfully designed. The location was great, right in the middle of the ski area with easy access to all four valleys.

Very pleasant hotel in a good location. The rooms are nice and clean with a view to the mountains. We really liked the short distance to slopes and lifts. The hotel breakfasts were amazing and we also enjoyed the afternoon snacks, which were a good refreshment after the whole day on skis. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly.

The restaurant was closed, the hotel has an elevator just for the reception floor
Everything was greate, the room is clean, the hotel in a nice area, , a clean hotel, free parking. Will return again, breakfast is good, pool is good.

the stuff ( reception) was not welcoming, we didnt even knew about the hotel facility options until we met another couple in our last day. we waited an hour for the room but she was not welling to answer our questions before we r getting the room.

The Alpina Wagrain hotel is beautiful, very meticulous and clean. The atmosphere is family and pleasant. The hotel has many facilities to enrich the children's time like a pool room and games pool and spa.
