Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Czech RepublicBeautiful large clean apartment with a view of the mountains. We enjoyed skiing, a short distance to all famous ski areas. The owner Manuela, is very nice. I can only recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back.

The owner was very attended and the house is big and with all the details needed. It has a terrace with a very nice view and comfortable furniture. my kids enjoy a lot the cows, nature and other nature that are in the surroundings. We will try to repeat again.

United StatesWe would highly recommend having a car here. In the winter it would be much more difficult without but we knew this so it was no issue for us.
My wife and I stayed here for 16 nights and it was perfect for us. The host is very welcoming, helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice and clean. It was fully stoked with everything from linens to all cooking utensils. Two big balcony’s with great views of the mountains. The bed was comfortable. Shower was great. The location for us was great, small quiet village but easy to access stores with a car. We were here in the winter time and this location was great for us to drive to as many different ski areas as we wanted from 10 minutes away to as far as you want to drive. We can fully recommend this apartment! We will return next time we are in the area!

The location is great, calm, quiet and allows access to oetzal, pitztal Valley, or hoch imst, or mountains just above the apartment! View is amazing, with 2 balconies. Apartment is perfect, well-equipped, with an access to a washing machine, so perfect when we traveled several weeks. The owner is really kind, and here if you need anything. Thank you, it was an excellent stay!!

Everything!!! The apartment is super comfortable, very spacious, has everything you need, and all super clean. Manuela is very nice and hospitable, and also very helpful. The decoration of the apartment is another bonus that makes you feel at home away from home. Loved it!

We had a nice welcome ! and our stay was great because all was better than we expected . Manuela, the owner is someone very frendly and we thank her for her kindness and gifts. The appartement is well furnished and the terasse is very nice. We appreciated the quality of the interior and the beauty of the exterior. The area of Tarrenz is full of beautiful places ! We realy recomand this place ! It's just amazing ! We hope to come again. Tirol is a very beautifull area and it realy worth to be visited.
