How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

In a quiet location with really friendly owners who waited up until almost midnight to let us in after we were delayed. The apartment was quite spacious and well equipped. The river running past outside provided a relaxing soundscape as well.

Unfortunately there was a power outage in the morning so I could not have coffee :(
Very nice people, they waited for me quite late in the evening. Nice location and room. Water boiler and nespresso machine, with teabags and coffee Kapseln.

The second bedroom has a two-level bed - great for kids, but not the best for adults. Besides, the room has no window. The pillows are very big and not comfortable.
Very friendly and helpful host Michel waited for us as we arrived late in the evening. It was very clean and rather comfortable in the apartment.

We spent four nights in Rennweg for ski holiday. Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped apartman with great location to Katschberg ski centre. Everything is just as in the description or even better. The host is very kind and helpful. We would absolutely recommend and would return.

it is nothing special but would have preferreded a separate toilet, there is only one in the bathroom...
very cozy and spacious apartment, well-equipped kitchen, everything is new and in good quality. host were very famous, brought us Apfelstrudel :-) Also, there are table games and cards available for the guests which we loved. The Katschberg ski resort is just a few minutes drive...very much enjoyed it.

The only two downsides were that there is no balcony (but there is a terrace on the ground floor, next to the stream, so that's a good option for a morning coffee, smoke, etc...) and maybe a little bit more light in the living room could be better, because the current lights are cool and create a nice atmosphere, but for the meals or for playing some board games or the living room tale they are a little too dark.
The apartment is new, cosy, well-equipped, and big enough for 2-3 adults plus 2 children (this was our case), or 4 adults. We only stayed for one night, but if we come back to Katschberg next time this apartment will definitely be one of the options for the whole stay.

There was nothing to complain about.
Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. Michel was incredibly accommodating to everything we needed. He replies instantly and is very helpful with all our queries, even after we checked out. I highly recommend this place as it was very convenient to get around, with a free shuttle to and from the ski resort just 1 min walk away, and also a grocery store, mall etc all within minutes walk away.

Everything is good.
The apartment was big for our one night stay and the location is perfect, near to the highway exit for travel between and to Croatia. There is a nice little river behind the apartment and everything is excellent. We didn’t use much of the kitchen, but it looks very complete, with toaster, microwave, dishwasher and nespresso machine.

Living room and kitchen lighting could be brighter. Didn't find a sponge and salt/pepper in the kitchen. Unstable internet connection.
The place looks like new. Clean, fresh, comfortable, huge, thoughtful organised and equipped. Very nice and cosy design. Cool bonus - outside terrace with a picturesque view to a mountain river.
