The lack of snow and limited skiing, was the main disappointment, but Filzmoos has other charms and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Having a rental car, enabled us to explore beyond the village.

Location of the Aparthotel is excellent, with a ski bus stop opposite the property, although everywhere is only a short walk away! The hosts Monika and Harry and their staff, are delightful and on hand to give you information about the village and their restaurant. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. with a great balcony. The cosy restaurant is popular with residents and locals alike and we can strongly recommend 'eating in' at some point during your stay - you won't leave hungry! The pear schnapps rounded off a perfect evening. The village has plenty of sports shops and a well stocked supermarket, making self-catering an easy option. Better snow would have been the icing on the cake!

Very comfortable stay, parking just near the property, the restaurant downstairs. The location is quiet, it is far from the main traffic. Our apartment was clean, with well-equipped kitchen. We had a gorgeous view to the mountains. The staff are all very nice and friendly people. Food in the restaurant was very tasty, big portions, and not overpriced. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to come back.

Nice and quite spacious apartment with a balcony, equipped with everything you may need. Friendly host. The folding bed in the living room comfortably sleeps two people.

We arrived late in may and the restaurant and breakfast weren't available the first couple of days due to a little break. However you can get breakfast and dinner at other hotels and restaurants or just get something at the local supermarket, so that wasn't really a problem.

We had a really lovely stay here. Nice, clean and big apartments with all the facilities you could need. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. The owners are really welcoming and friendly people and are always happy to help. I would really recommend the restaurant as well, we had a very good meal there when they opened. We will definitely come back here again.

Flizmoos is a lovely village. Short walk from the property is a supermarket and tourist information centre. We got a summer card which allowed us to use a local lift for free. The host was very helpful. Great view from the room. Small swimming pool and trampoline behind the building. Bike storage and parking. Playroom for kids in the basement.

Regarding the location - when I made the booking through booking.com, it indicated that the place was some 18 km away from Hallstatt. However, it was actually over 60 KM away and over an hour drive!. Also, I used the directions in booking.com directly, and it took me to some place else and not at the property itself! I then called the owners and they were kind enough to send the exact location. This is no fault of the venue - but booking.com totally misled me.

A fabulous place - awesome view and very nice people. Full marks and more for cleanliness and the facilities offered.

This place is managed by a family, so there is no management. In booking com it says cook like your home, but there was very little salt and pepper. There was no oil to cook. However, they provided us some oil. Also they were on their week off the 2 nights we stayed. Which I completely understand, but they could have arranged for someone to take care of the place when they are away. We didn't even know where to leave our keys when we left.

The owner received us well with a smiling face. The locality is beautiful and there are shops and restaurants near by. Clean rooms and beautifully decorated.
