Small but very lovely and good equipped apartment with great view from balcony.

The check in was difficult as it was not very clear which building it was. The people working in the hotel didnt know about where the apartment was. We arrived at night and couldnt get help. It might be helpful if there could be a sign at the entrance or show more picture of the main building.

The apartment is very pleasant, nicely decorated and excellently equipped. The charming balcony offers a wonderful view of the mountains. Before our arrival, we received detailed instructions from our host Christine, who was also available during our stay. Self checkin and checkout is very simple. The apartment is on the first floor and can be reached by elevator. Free parking is available. The apartment is quite far from the center of town, so you need a car, but on the other hand it is very peaceful and surrounded by nature.

Not within walking distance of town. Only CNN and BBC news for English television channels but the TV can be streamed to.

The balcony is comfortable and the view is amazing. Free parking. Quiet. The communication was great throughout the process and photo instructions were great.

My best stay in Austria. Kids were surprised. Colour combination used inside room is awesome. Parking for free just outside building. Lift is there. View from house is really memorable with balcony and mountain view. Self checkin and checkout. If you are in Hallstatt, stay here and enjoy Hallstatt, Obertraun and Goisernperle.

The apartment unit itself is excellent - no caveats. The apartment building is a bit dark and musty. Nothing the host can do about that. It is just a bit unexpected to see (probably) a former hotel and restaurant with some of the facilities out of use and dark.

We spent parts of 3 days touring the small towns in the area between Fuschli, Hallstatt, Aultausee and Gmunden. The apartment location in Bad Goisern was ideal. We enjoyed the comforts and cleanliness of the apartment. The balcony and mountain views were a treat in the evenings.

This was a perfect room for long stay and cannot be faulted. The Hotel is up in the mountains and 15 mins ride from Hallstatt parking. I could not see any public transport around and one must have a car to reach this HOTEL. Restaurant of the hotel was not functioning and the lady said we only serve breakfast..... The Supermarkets shut at 6:00 pm so one must plan if you plan to cook in your room. We had to drive to some place we saw on google maps where a 24 hour self service store was available and we got some basic bread and cheese and potatoes. We speak English and it was difficult to do our own billing in German language. this was an adventure and nothing negative about this....... I am writing just to caution the future guest to plan better, buy supplies in advance ,if one plans to cook, or get a take way dinner and then check in.

We liked the large room, ideal for two adults and two children. It was located in Alpenhotel DASCHTEIN in Bad Goisern a pretty village located in a beautiful area with a variety of walking around alpine forest, The access to key was easy. The lobby had an old water mill and that was an attraction. A little ahead they had a breakfast parlor and a beautiful working piano and my children played melodies tunes on them. The apartment is well equipped with a working kitchen with basic food supplies provided. We had a microwave, a dishwasher and a hotplate to cook, the study/ dining table was good for three. The large comfortable double bed and a sofa bed gave us the good rest we needed. The TV was provided with activated NETFLIX. The bathroom is large with toiletries and facemasks provided for indulgence!!!!! We had requested a hairdryer and it was present. During check-in, There were a small gift left for my two children on their beds and they felt special with this gesture.!!! There were crayons and coloring books , stuffed toys to play and board games , very thoughtfully provided and the children were occupied as soon as they discovered these .The Sofa beds were very comfortable and My children enjoyed their Netflix shows and slept well . The room has a large picture window which frames the view of the snow-capped mountain beyond with beautiful morning sky We also had a very cozy balcony with seating space and beautiful view of the mountains. We used the balcony for morning coffee and reading.

The apartment was not very close to Hallstatt-roughly 20 min drive.

it was very nicely designed, clean and comfortable. the small gift boxes full of candies was a nice suprise for the kids. Everything you might need from razor and face masks to coffee milk and free drinks exist in this cozy apartment . Lastly, the small balcony is also very nicely designed and has a nice view. The host was easily reachable and she was very helpful.
