Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Compact apartment, suited our short stay in Linz. We received the instructions for access by email. Parking on the road outside was fine, shops just outside, and very close to the Tips Arena which we were visiting.

United StatesThe towels were very scratchy and left lint all over my body after I took a shower. The paint in the bathroom was coming off of the ceiling, not a huge issue for functionality but it looked like it could fall down any moment. The Wifi was not reliable, my devices would display 'connected without internet' and the connection would often fail while I was using it for phone calls or internet use on my computer. They claim to have a dryer in the laundry cellar but there is only a washing machine currently. There were often loud people in the hallway at all hours of the night which caused me to not sleep very well for a few of the nights.
It was easy to locate the key box and access the key for my apartment. I had no issues arriving a bit earlier than 17:00. The apartment had everything I needed for the time I was visiting including kitchen wares and a small table top fan. The washing machine in the basement was useful for me. The location is good, a quiet walkable neighborhood. Though if there is a game at the stadium nearby, expect noise and lots of people yelling and smoking outside at late hours!

The location is nice, 12 minutes walk from Linz main train station and the apartment is in a quick zone, CHECK IN time was terrible, they insist on 5pm in evening, I wish they will can change their CHECK IN time.

AustriaThe noise from the front street
The checkin process is very smooth, you get the instructions by email and it is easy to follow.The studio was very well cleaned, beds nicely done and the kitchen has all the accessories. One thing which I could recommend is because it is close to the football stadium, it is good to consider booking a room on the non road facing side as it can be noisy if there is a late evening match. The staff is very prompt, I had a small issue to close the window and immediately it was seen and fixed by them. The staff speaks very good English, so it was easily to call them or email them. The room sizes are variant, I had a small studio for a family of 3, it was pretty comfortable. There is a double bed and a single bed and the beds are super comfortable. For the price paid, the studio has been a good value of money Public transport is very easy from the studio to the centre, the main train station is only 3 stops by the closest bus stop (140m) and the frequency of the buses is very nice. The first bus is before 6 a.m., so if you fancy to start early then also the busses are available. The busses run till almost midnight. Lastly, super market is a stone throw away and also open from early morning till late evening Since I did not have a car, I cannot give any feedback on the parking Mind you there is no lift in these apartments, so if you are having heavy luggage then it could be better to stay on lower floors..I was on the 2nd floor so this is something I would like to reconsider to have it on the 1st floor when I return back to these studios I would rate my stay in these apartments a perfect 10
