The automatic lights that turn on upon entering the ground floor always turned off before we could reach the first floor. That may be nitpicking though since we were able to remedy this by keeping our phone flashlights on.

Daniela welcomed us to the property and ran through important information upon check in. On the second evening of our stay, they were thoughtful enough to leave a basket of fresh towels and tissue paper outside our apartment. We didn’t need it however since the apartment was well-stocked and felt we didn’t need a change of towels. The property is conveniently located right in front of a bus stop that takes you to the city center in about 20 minutes. The bus runs every 15 minutes or so. The property also has terraces which give you a beautiful view of the mountains and grassland/farm land. Also just realized as I’m reviewing the property that they were lovely enough to have given us a room upgrade.

In quate area, spacious apartment, clean with comfortable bed. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and more. Big terrace and whole apartment are east oriented, and you can really enjoy sunrise and green fields. If you are an early bird, you can even see deer and doe. Bus station is in front of pension Ballwein and it is pleasant 10 minutes ride to city center. Hospitable owners are always there for guests' requests.

The apartment was immaculate, kitchen well set out, nice bathroom, views fabulous across the paddocks to the mountains, bus transport immediately outside to the City Centre (bus 4 times an hour, 15-20 mins to Centre), shops down the road, internet excellent and the hosts very professional. Washing machine available for a fee downstairs, plenty of off street parking. Highly recommend.

It was only on departing that we realised traditional br3akfasts in common room where available. Wish we had known at check-in. And we could not find the laundry facility that we believe was mentioned.But amazing place.

Well appointed accommodation in traditional alpine style. The close proximity to airport and related noise levels were minimal.

Excellent location. We spent three days visiting Saltzberg using public transport (easy bus at doorstep, 10 min to centre) and three days using our care to tour further (Berchtesgaden 25min). A great location, and spacious comfortable apartment, lacking nothing. PS get the Saltzberg Card - hosts had it for sale and it's amazing value for 72hrs

There was nothing like that.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment, living room with kitchen and separate bedroom, two balconies. everything is furnished to a high standard, modern spacious bathroom, nothing is missing. Very pleasant communication with the owner of the guesthouse. After walking around the city center all day, we were happy to relax in peace on the outskirts of the city.

So clean and smartly renovated, had everything we needed plus mountain views! A little out of town but this really adds to the atmosphere and buses are quick and regular. Absolutely loved staying here and would come back again!

Nice, clean, and comfortable apartment, peaceful location in the countryside, private parking, friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful view from the balcony, bus stop to Salzburg's center right in front of the house (15 min ride, if you want to avoid driving into the city), great base for visiting the Salzkammergut region.

The hosts does make you feel welcome and are so polite. we had a great stay, and would recommend this pension to all person who want to stay at Salzburg. with the bus it is only a 15 min ride, so they are good located! thanks for the stay! the appartement is wel equipped en so nice to stay at.

1. Lovely quiet location although it is part of a working farm and main road but nothing that was intrusive. Bus stop right outside the pension. If you have a car it is good for getting out of the city to the lakes and mountains but with excellent public transport to reach the main part of the city 2. Host very welcoming and helpful, provided good advice before we arrived and recognised a birthday with some cake and a drink 3. Apartment spotlessly clean and cleaning products left so that we could clean and wipe down during our 6 night stay. 4. Nice selection of teas and coffees. 5. Plenty of car parking if coming with a car 6. Some seats outside 7. Washing machine for use. Cost 5 Euro and note only washing machine, not dryer but drying rack. Iron and ironing board provided in the laundry room Would definitely stay here again
