How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Kitchen cleaning would need a bit of attention. Generally it was clean, but there was a tray left used in the oven. Some not washed coffee spoons left with the clean ones. Small things probably legacy from the previous guests, but should be taken care of. The knives. There was one very small and two very large and all seem to be not of a good quality.
Easy communication with the hosts. Picked up keys from lock box with no problem Property is well furnished, and the sofa is comfortable to sleep. Sofa was arranged for sleep for the kids at arrival.

I would prefer a lower pillow . The dishwasher is not essential. The space could have been used smarter . Some cooking oil , salt and pepper would be nice to have too .
I loved the fact that it is one minute from a metro station and has a supermarket close by. The house although small was very factional .

The apartment is great! Really good inside, spacious, and there’s a bus station and a subway stop really close. I would definitely recommend it!

It was all great.
Cosy, comfortable, clean and an excellent proximity to the city. Right beside the U3 U Bahn - it was perfect. A few short minutes to Stefanplatz. Shower was amazing too !!

The floor was a little bit dirty. There was a lot of hairs. But anyway that was the only problem.
It was on a good location. -Close to the football national stadium (2 km) away. -Undergraund (1 min walking). -Billa store (2 min walking). Big apartment with everything what you need. We didn’t see the owner but she send us details on whatsapp. -Parking is very close. (4 min walking). We used Apcoa parking garage. Just install app (apcoa flow) on your phone and pay with the app. It’s way cheaper. One day 7€. Without app is 25€.

Everything was amazing! Metro station right around the corner! It takes literaly 10 minutes in total to get from the apartment to Stephansplatz. Garage for your car is really near as well.

The apartment has a very nice view, its situated on the corner of the street, the U-Bahn is littrealy behing the building, where you can arrived very fast in the City Centre. Its warm and cozy, and very clean. We will be staying here again soon.

This was my second time booking Apartments-in-vienna and it was as expected judging from the first time - the best in this price range. Clean, nice furniture, great location if you have plans in Erdberg. Metro is literally around the corner so you can get in city centre in no time. I can only recommend Apartments-in-vienna.

The sofa in the living room is not a bed - there are no sheets that will fit this! We were provided with a fitted sheet that couldn't possibly be fitted to the sofa, then were given a flat sheet that was too short to cover the length. I gave up asking at that point. The toaster was worse than useless, the oven hadn't been cleaned and had food stuck to the shelves, and the hairdryer in the shower room actually went on fire. I advised the host and didn't even get the courtesy of a response although I could see that my message had been read.
Well equipped apartment, very close to tram and U-Bahn stations (about 2 minutes walk to each). The building has a lift which we only used to take our cases up and down as we were on the first floor. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms which was great. There weren't enough hangers for two women for six nights, but Marija brought some as soon as I asked for them. Plenty of dishes and cutlery in the kitchen.

It was not the most hygienic flat we stayed . They need to change some of the kitchen items . I would also expect host to inform us that parking is free during the weekend when we ask about parking

The check out time was sharp 10 am in the morning. 11 am would be convenient. Also shampoo and body shower and toothpaste were not included with the stay.
Very spacious apartment with tram and underground station at a stone throw away. Kitchen is well equipped and Spar supermarket is nearby.
