How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Bed mattress was too soft, however, this is personal preference.
Great apartment, very spacious and clean. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Wonderful hosts!!! Spacious apartment, well equipped, convenient location and Pastoral landscape. We were 2 adults and 3 children, it was always nice to return to the apartment at the end of a day and have a good dinner in the host's restaurant

There was only a minor glitch. First few days apartment was cold but when I spoke to the owners they listened me and ensured that he would check.
Hotel owners were very friendly, accommodating and welcoming.

The living roomn is not so convenient (too small) for 5 people.
The room was clean and well organized, the hosts were very kind and helpful, the location was convvenient for our purposes and having a resraurant on the location was an advantage.

we liked everything
the property is very clean and very equipped we were shocked how clean it is and felt like we were at our home the owners and their family are super nice and made us feel welcome they own a restaurant on the entrance - the food is very good so are the prices and the atmosphere would definitely go back there !

There were some flies because there are no nets in the windows.
The hosts were amazing. The appartment is new, very clean and organized. We had everything we needed. Great scenery! Great location for trip in Salzburgland and close to 2 supermarkets. Excellent food at the restaurant. Perfect vacation! :)

Loved everything. The appartment we had was spesios, clean, fully equipped, and super comfortable. The dishwasher, the washing machine, the trampoline, and the perfect restaurant at the first floor were the topping on the ice cream. Florian, his family and the the other team members are all nice, friendly and intentive people. Thank you all, you made our austrian trip better.

We stayed in a very nice new apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and kitchen with living room. The rooms are spacious and very well cleaned. Well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, oven and the microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant on the ground floor is a huge asset for evening meals (possible takeaways too).

The location is very good for Ski amade (Flachau, Zauhensee and Schladming) slopes - about 20 minutes by car to each of them. The same goes for Obertauern. The closest grocery store, Höfer is in Radstadt, about 3 minutes by car. The apartament was very clean, modern and comfortable. All the necessary kitchen equipment was there. The Host and his Family was very, very kind, always helpful and caring for their guests. There is a great restaurant downstairs, where you can eat delicious food or have a drink (very good Aperol Spritz). It also has a takeaway option. There is a lot of parking space outside the building, to park the car. There is also a ski room with a dryer for ski boots. Top notch! I would definitely like to visit Appartement Tauernblick again!

The property has very good and easily accessible location. It is very close to several skiing centers (Absolute park in Flachau winkle, Snow Space Salzburg, Schladming, Oberatuern), so one can choose where to spend the skiing day. In winter period the vicinity of the main road is a big advantage. Another advantage is that at the property there is a very good restaurant. The apartments and the restaurant are ran by the same family and they are all very kind people. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has all the needed equipment for a pleasant stay, with different kinds of glasses, pots, dishes and even scissors :)! Very close to the apartments there are big supermarkets.

the apartment is amazing, clean, big and everything new and in perfect condition. location is perfect and close to many attractions and activities. there is an excellent restaurant in the complex the host was available for us and helped us in every little think we needed
