How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bar was closed
No car is needed, Cafes, Restaurants, Shops are all within walking distances. Nice balcony.

I didn't like the room was too small for a couple and a 5years old child. The blankets were too small. The bathroom was too old. The restaurant didn't have too much space and you have to (not tell the staff but your subconscious) leave the table because people stayed in line to eat breakfast. Only one waitress was rude very bad vibe to start the day.
I liked the food. Very good location and the staff were very kind.

We ware travelling with kid and we just got two sets of towels, but this is minor issue.
Location is great. Easy and quick access to center, in the area are also a lot nice places to go and have a drink or something to eat. Hotel was clean. Beds are comfortable and bedsheets ware clean. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety of tasty and fresh food. Hotel was also quiet.

The bad thing was that the AC could only be turned on cold from Monday, on Saturday and Sunday it blew warm air instead, and since the hotel is located by the main road, it was very hot to sleep.
The breakfast was very tasty, the location was good.

Door to the room like paper and any sound from next room in bathroom sounded like in our. Also didn’t have slippers.

Nice hotel, comfortable room, very nice service, good wifi and great breakfast. Well located, close to metro and not far from the centre. Staff is nice and helpful.

The balcony is not you private balcony. It is shared by other rooms.
I was upgraded and got better room than I booked. I got a room with balcony (7th floor). The parking is in directly underneath the hotel. There's wide variety of food for breakfast and lunch.

I can't think of anything. All was great.
Everything fantastic. Good breakfast, clean and a spacious room. Location is so good that it provides easy transfer from the airport to the Westbanhof Train station which is just across the street from the hotel.

Very poor wi-fi signal; No fridge in the room; Tables at breakfast are not sufficient for the hotel guests and every day we had to wait so long a table to be cleaned and prepared for the next people. The staff totally did not care that the tables stay dirty for long time - the hotel should solve this issue. A bad surprise was the fact that the amount for the reservation was fully charged at the day of booking even though I choose the option with free cancellation (there were a couple of weeks till the arrival/cancellation date.)
Very nice breakfast with good quality, coffee machines were just perfect; Apples and water at reception as a compliment were great idea. Room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Although I booked an option with free cancellation, money was withdrawn from my account a few hours after the reservation. That really makes the process of changing/cancelling reservation more difficult than it should be.
Breakfast was nice, there was enough variety.

One lamp in the room didn't work, the fridge wasn't cooling. In the bathroom, the glass screen by the bathtub leaked, so even with a careful shower there was a lot of water on the floor. The size of the breakfast room probably does not correspond to the number of guests in the hotel. Some guests had to wait for a table to become available, and queues formed.
Breakfast was very rich, beds comfortable.

The neighbourhood isn't the most beautiful part of Vienna, allthought the metro station is near.

Mirrors are scary on bathroom door and feel the dust in room . Air conditioner is not proper in room. We feel comfortable in corridor rather in room . We feel parking bit expensive 31 eur for 1 day

I didn’t like that they didn’t respect the sign i placed on the door such as no cleaning and don’t disturb.
The breakfast was diverse and the rooms are very comfortable. They event have a small self kit that has sewing items, i found it nice.
