The room and the staircase and the windows are dirty!! The doors locked so heavily. There was some leftover biscuits in the chest of drawer… The receptionist who cant speak in english did a copy of my ID, please take note the data protection regulations.

If you are staying at the Astral Hotel, it would be nice to learn a few words of Arabic, because in the afternoon the receptionist does not speak English or German. There is no table in the room, the toilet door cannot be closed, the hair dryer stand could break your leg because it falls. all in all, not as good as in the pictures.

Broken window handle, door cards did not work and we had to replace them 2x, soap in the bathroom run out, no wifi passoword, receptionist did not speak english and they did not answer the phone when we rang twice (about the wifi password).

The beds were comfy, there was a nice bathroom. Cleaner did they job well.. except some hairs on the sheets.. but overall cleaned pretty good.

It was very loud during the night, no sound isolation at all. Luckily the bedding and towels were acceptably clean (although far from flawless), but the floors and everything else could use some cleaning..

Great location 10 minutes from Wien Hbf. The bed was comfortable.

I stayed in Hotel Astral Viena for one night as business trip, then for almost two weeks I was trying to get the invoice for my stay, however the phone number does not work, anybody pick up the phone, and nobody replied to my emails either. I am very disappointed that the hotel did ignored my request for the invoice. I contacted also Booking several times but neither they could not get in touch with the accommodation. If somebody from hotel staff reads this, I will be very glad if you can come to me and send me the invoice for my stay, please, as appropriate for business trip.

The room was OK for one night sleep close to the train station but the toilet was not clean. There is no TV in the room for these who expect it.

There was the possibility of leaving the luggage in after the check-out but we had to leave it in the lobby, where everyone have access. I would have preferred to leave it somewhere safer.

The bed was very comfy and the room spacious. Good position, 10 minutes walk from the train station.

The staff's customer service is non-existent. During check-in no information given, we just received a white plastic card not even the room number written on it. Upon returning in the evening the card did not work, we had to go down twice when the girl from reception finally came up with us. When we said thanks she just said 'do not worry', she didn't say sorry for the inconveniences or anything like. Instead of the Tv there was just a cable hanging from the wall.

The room looked just like the picture (except the lack of a tv), it was clean. With public transportation it was easy to move around the city. Loads of shops nearby. The area wasn't bad at all, we didn't experience anything bad.

It was very cold in the room and we notified the staff who told us that if the room is over 22 degrees Celsius, the heat does not turn on, although it was obvious that it was no more than 18-19 degrees in the room. I invited the person at the reception to come and see for himself how cold it is in the room, but he refused. The card for entering the room did not always work and we had to go down to the reception every time to solve it. Although in the presentation pictures there are rooms with a television, it is not present in the rooms.We were told by the reception that there is a 50/50 chance of getting a room with a TV, because even they don't know which room has a TV and which room doesn't. It's more of a hostel than a hotel and if I managed to find something available for the time I was there, I wouldn't stay there for another minute. In conclusion, I do not recommend.

The accommodation is clean, close to the subway and has a nice staff who tried to solve my problem, but they were overwhelmed by the situation.

I found some hair in my pillow so I am confused about clean service. Moreover, I heard everything from next door.

Good price for this place, nothing special. However staff was very polite and helpful. Everything was great, especially location (10 minutes from center by car)

No room cleaning services during the stay, pillows were awful, no TV in the room which wasn't a big deal except that it was advertised as having a TV.

Location was great in relation to the main train station as well as the subway and bus stops, restaurants and shopping areas nearby are also excellent. Room was very clean and recently renovated, brand new furniture. Staff were friendly and we could store our luggage before and after our stay at the hotel.

I have a lot to say.. My card key did not work every time I came back after a short walk, so I had to go down in the lobby to have them redo my card. This happened 3 times during one night. There were also no towels in my room when I arrived, so I had to go down AGAIN to ask for towel and was told that they would let the cleaning staff know. As a female solotraveller I also did not feel safe with the design of the room. My room was connected with the room next door and the only thing separating us is a locked door. The main door to the room has no extra lock, and the light from the hallway was peeping in at the bottom of the door.. this means it is fairly easy to stick something beneath my main door and attempt to open it by pushing the handle down. Also no sound isolation and you can hear EVERYTHING. No surprise since it is only a door separating my neighbour and I. The soap provided also dried out my skin very much. The ventilation in the shower and toilet was very noisy, and it was not even that strong. Things quickly got foggy in the shower. Still think this was just okay for one night despite everything

Staff was nice and helpful. Water pressure in the shower was very good. The room comes with a toilet and shower. Overall very clean room and spacios to put your stuff. Close to many transportation options. Also seem to be a safe area. No drunks or addicts encountered and no one gave me any type of looks even when I as a female minority was walking alone late at night. I read reviews of the hotel before booking, so most things were as expected.

Weak noise insulation, until late it was noisy in the corridor, you could hear what the guests were doing in the next room. There was a specific smell in the room. In the morning it was also noisy, repair work was being carried out. Therefore, it was not possible to sleep and rest.

Convenient location, friendly staff. Clean bed and towels. Free Wi-Fi is available.
