The only bad thing for us was the mattress. In our opinion, it wasn't really comfortable. But other than that - everything was really great.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was great! Versatile and tasteful. The room is big and comfy.

Nothing, it was a lovely stay and location with perfect hosts.

Hubert and Heidi were friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. When I arrived I explained I had lost my wallet on the bus journey there. They were very understanding and phoned a friend from the village, who worked for the bus company. The wallet was later found and returned to the Salzburg office, the friend collected it for me and dropped it off at B&B Simmer at midnight (the end of her shift). Hubert stayed up specially and returned the wallet to me at breakfast (all intact). Such acts of kindness made our holiday extra memorable. Thank you all so much.

I'm heading to Wien with good memories. During 4nights, Hubert and Heidi made me comfortable at home. The room is big and so clean for me. You can reach to Hallstatt, Dachstein, Bad Ishl, St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. . . Also enjoy the omelets they cook for breakfast. I won't forget everything with Simmer. Danke.

Heidi and Hubert made us feel right at home. They made us breakfast with eggs their chickens had recently hatched. They were very friendly and engaging. The town of Obrertraun gave us a real Austrian feel that we wanted. We wished we had booked for more than just one night!

The beds were not as comfortable as I would wish but this may be due to my size (2 m tall). The soundproofing between the rooms might be improved but it also might be that the guests nextdoor were just a bit louder.

Heidi and Hubert are the two exceptional owners who we are fortunate to have acquainted and who have tolerated my broken excuse for German for far too long. The breakfast was excellent and Hubert also makes a mean omelette, be sure not to miss it! :) They have built an almost immaculate property in the middle of the Alps. Be sure not to pass it up!

The place is easy to find. Owners were super friendly and we felt like at home. Breakfasts were great, especially omlets made by the landlady. It was easy to park the car, a huge benefit in the area so popular with turists.

Everything was perfect

We have been traveling for a month and this was one of the most authentic stays we have had. The building is brand new and in a great location. The owners were very nice, the breakfast was incredible, access to bikes was amazing but the hospitality really felt like you were staying with family. The couple that owns and runs this place are very gracious. Being that the building you’re staying in is brand new goes a long way as well, as it feels and smells brand new! You’ll be very happy staying here :)

One of the best places we’ve stayed in away from home. The hosts were fantastic and extremely friendly. They made us fresh omelette in the morning and recommended places to see in Hallstatt. They also let us park the car there even after we checked out.
