We really enjoyed the friendliness of our hosts as well as the amazing breakfast they served. It was conveniently located a short walk from both the bus stop and train station. I would definitely recommend staying here for a quieter location while visiting the area!

We had a wonderful couple of days here. Hosts are warm and welcoming and didn't think twice about going the extra mile to help us with early breakfasts and a couple other requests. Thank you so much again for your hospitality. For fellow hikers out there, this property is ideally located at the base of a few interesting hikes in the area (bike routes as well). Also ideally located for non-hikers who are in the area solely to visit Hallstatt (10 min by local bus a few steps from property). Also easily accessible by bus from here is Gosausee and Hinterer Gosausee. Needless to say based on the property's review score, the room and facilities were immaculate, we could not find fault with anything at all. Highly recommended.

Hubert and his wife are very lovely hosts, the apartment is very clean and modern, bed is cozy and comfortable. Location is very accessible , Parking space is available directly at the door, area is quiet and near the hiking sites. I would have stayed longer if I could! But I'll definitely come back! Thank you again, Hubert!!!!

Heidi and Hubert were friendly and gracious hosts that made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was excellent. Obertraun is a beautiful village that is peaceful and relaxing without the crowds of tourists at Halstatt. We stayed for 3 days and loved every minute of it.

We absolutely loved the stay, the owners were very warm! Breakfast had a good options to choose from and they also let us keep the luggage after the checkout as we had few places to visit before heading out from Obertraun.

Lovely place, my partner and I enjoyed it very much and would definitely come back. The house owners are lovely, and they made a delicious (!!!) breakfast for us and other guests. The view from the balcony is outstanding, the yard is charming as well. The only regret is that we stayed only for one night!

Absolutely nothing! It was perfect!

This is the most charming and perfect place to stay. We had a beautiful experience and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. We felt like they were family and they took such good care of us. They cooked us a wonderful homemade breakfast in the morning and we were able to sit out on the terrace right next to a little stream and the view was breathtaking. They had bikes to rent right at their place and we took the bikes and rode over to Hallstatt which was just a beautiful ride. We loved absolutely everything about this place.

Heidi and Hubert are the most lovely couple we have met in our travels. They are very warm and passionate about the B&B. They have taken into consideration every small detail in the room and the place. I wished there were more B&B's run like them. Rooms are big and clean, bathrooms are modern. The view is breathtaking from the balcony. Breakfast is perfect, eggs, cereal, breads and fruits to take you through lunch. Heidi guided us on the touristy things to do. Such a lovely lady. Parking is free if u want to drive there, we did and it was perfect to get around the place. Hope to see u guys in Dubai soon, lots of love from Sandpit!

Everything was perfect. Excellent location near Hallstatt, the landscape and the view was amazing. Bike rental is near the B&B, this is the best way to explore the area. Delicious breakfast, you can eat what you want, omlett, pancake, fruitsalad, cold cuts, veggies, coffee was nice too. The room was big enough, very comfy, but a little fridge would be useful in the summer. Our stay was wonderful here, I absolutely recommend this place.

Quiet location with friendly owners. Amazing view on Dachstein Five Fingers and friendly hens in the garden😀. Breakfasts are served by owners and they prepare fresh omelette or fried eggs as you wish. . Cycle paths and tourist paths nearby and owners offer help to plan the trip. There is a shared fridge for guests. In the village there is a good pizzeria run by italian family. Lake is very very cold.
