Despite my mistake to book a room for a single person and the ongoing Bregenzer Festpiele where you would not expect a lot of availabilities, the staff was able to provide a room for two in short for a decent fee. This was highly appreciated!

The breakfast: poor and not good enough for a 4 stars hotel, as expected. The room: I payed for a single room the same price that my parents payed for a double. Means I got smaller room e smaller bed. Being a 4 stars hotel, I would have expected the courtesy kit in the bathroom.

Definitely the location: in the city center! The good wifi connection. The availability of the people at reception. They nicely supported to accompany us at rail station with hotel private car because all the taxis were booked (no available): appreciated a lot.

The floorboards creaked in the entire hotel which kept us awake. The shower curtain was very short. Almost all restaurants in Bregenz seemed to be closed on Mondays.

We got a free upgrade and really liked the room and the bed. The bathroom was spacious and the staff were friendly.

Poor internet. No undercover parking or secure lock up garage for bikes which we have had so far but there was a place outside at the back to park but in the open.

Great central location on a pedestrian street. Smart hotel, Quiet room, comfortable bed, large bathroom, well laid out with separate seating area and desk and good storage for bags and a fridge and kettle. We had a patio but it was too hot in the sun to enjoy. The best bit of the hotel after 21 days in Germany without it, was air conditioning. However, it was switched off as centrally controlled when we returned from dinner but we called reception and they switched it back on. It was very hot while in Bregenz and it was needed. We did not eat breakfast.

room was not ready at 2:00 check in time. you had to request at front desk air conditioning to be turned on in your room, and you had no control over temperature. one of our rooms the AC got turned off and front desk person was gone so it could not be turned back on again till the next day.

Hotel location is great, however, this comes with a price - the noisy motorbikes on the main road nearby are easily heard from the hotel rooms. The mayor of the city should do something to ban such primitive noise which spoils the peace and quiet of locals and visitors alike. Otherwise, the hotel per se is very acceptable.

Hotel location in the heart of the old centre and close to everything. Parking facilities at GWL is also very good, although it comes at a bit of a price.
