The heating and hot water are until the night. So we arrived late at night and after a walk at Hallstatt, we came back to a cold room, without hot water to take a bath. Also, breakfast, was not great—one of the smallest selection I have ever seen. If you want to eat just a bit healthy, there is nothing to eat. They didn't even offer eggs.

It was a long walk from the station to the property so it is much better with a car to get around.

The room was quite big and the property itself was quite beautiful and clean and very quiet too, in the middle of mountains. Bathroom was also nice and the food options during the stay as well.

When we arrived, it was really, really quiet. Birds were chirping. Beware - young athletes may stay here (well, it IS a sports resort), so one looking for quietness may be disturbed by the noises from stadiums. We were fine. I would gladly come here for a week or two, to enjoy the nature, the hikes, the lake, the air.

During my stay at the hotel, there was a group of a sports club with small children who where too noisy. Also there was no equipment in my room ( no soap or shower gel/shampoo, hair dryer). During my checkout, the lady in the reception told me that the room was supposed to be given to the sports club group and it was intentionally empty. (so it was mistakenly empty for me)

The staff was very kind and helpful and breakfast tasty. Definitely recommend you to buy dinner as well for about 13€ - well worth it. Sauna nicely surprised us, we did not expect it so clean and comfy, because of the photos on Booking, in real it's much better. This is perfect place if you want to do any sport. We will probably come back again in summer!

The beds have been kind of small and hard. No soap inside of the room . Sadly the hotel restaurant was closing kind of early- the next restaurant was kind of far away. other then this cannot say anything bad about the Hotel. Lot's of open space and nature is there.

The breakfast was quite nice and huge!! Really nice!! The room is big but just beds are kind of small. Everything was very clean and nice!! the Hotel is located in the middle of nature - very nice!! i liked it !!

The whole place did feel like you walked in to a summer camp for kids. Which it basicly was. Towels and bedding were provided but not even a piece of soap. Don't expect any luxuries. It's not at walking distance of hallstatt but that's easily solved by taking a bus.

Everything was sufficient. Nothing was great but it was what you could expect for that price. Breakfast was ok. The room was very simple but clean. However, the reception staff was as friendly and helpfull as you would expect in a 4 star hotel.

My stay was exceptional. I was allowed to check in a few hours before the check in time so that I could go for a walk, which is always a bonus and really appreciated. The room was decent size and a good size bathroom. Everything was clean. Breakfast included a lot of options, and catering for vegetarians. The surroundings are exceptional.

There is a buffet breakfast, and there is a buffet dinner that needs to be paid separately, which is delicious. It is very close to the snow field, only a 2-minute drive away.

Breakfast was OK bit a bit on the modest side in my opinion, especially since the place is marketed as a sports resort which is visited by hikers, cyclists and so on which require energy.

We thought €25 for a bag of laundry was very expensive but I think its a service they don't normally offer. I.e. they're usually doing laundry for whole sports teams rather than individuals/couples. We'd been cycling for a week up to that point so decided it was worth it on this occasion. We stayed during a heat wave, so the rooms were warm without air con. However the shutters on the windows helped to keep some of the heat out to make it manageable.

The food was great value! The vibe around the place was very relaxed and the staff were able to accommodate our needs for a fee e.g. laundry after a week of cycling. Very comfortable rooms. We were reluctant to stay in the nearby campsites due to negative reviews. That left us with very few options. This was the next cheapest place and ee experienced no negativity here what so ever.

Excellent value for money! Tidy room with spacious bathroom, reading chair and comfy bed, desk and TV. Situated a few minutes from the shores of Lake Hallstatt. Delicious buffet breakfast and very accommodating staff.
