How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Was a bit noisy from the train station and other guests sometimes , shower was leaking a little and the rest was fine.

You can clearly hear people from other rooms, vent in the bathroom stays on for too long, broken shower doors.

The room was a bit cold and noisy, could overhear the neighboring room at the morning, but nothing too disturbing.

Not having an air conditioner.
The only bad thing is they don't have an air conditioner. Other than that it is perfect. Not to mention the rate is so so low. They have hair dryer, safe box, and TV!. The room and bathroom is perfectly clean and everything is awsome.

I wish they would improve the cleaning in the hotel. The floor needed to be wiped, there was dust and some food crumbles on the floor, the furniture and night stands. And I wish we had not looked under the bed. Sorry, but your cleaning staff kinda sucks. I know it’s not hotel’s fault, but we had troubles with sleeping as the guests above us were loud as crazy, jumped around the room, so our room doors and even furniture shaked. As the reception does not work after 10pm, we could not do anything.
I came to this hotel with one person for one night. The area is a bit far from the centre, but the hotel is right in between two Metro stations, so the accessibility was just fine. The staff was nice, helpful, the room was spacious, bed comfy. For one night and for the price, just fine.

I wish the room would have had a mini fridge, also maybe every other day housekeeping. I feel that would make the place better!
The room is spacious and tidy, the bathroom is really nice too. The heating worked well too and the location is great.

Small bed for the two of us ( normal sized couple), blanket also small. At first they thought I booked for one person so it seems to me they just added one pillow. It's quite loud if you don't close the window, trams pass right under your window all night and the trails squeek. There is no elevator.
Clean and spacious room, very friendly staff. Soap and body/hair shampoo provided.

I don't know if this was some mistake or if this happen to everybody but the chip for lock was not working on the last day of our stay, so we had to leave several hours earlier than we would like to.
The location is great because it is so close to Schönbrunn and we really liked the furniture in our room.

The only thing I really didn’t like is the wi fi connection. We were in the 3th floor and the the closest router was on the 2nd floor. The wi-fi reached only the hallway of our floor and completely disappeared in the room even though in the offer it is mention wi fi connection everywhere. Also, it would have been nice if there were slippers offered for the rooms.
It was clean and quiet. I liked the location the best as it has bus stop and super markets right across the street. There are also two metro stations nearby and the Schönbrunn Palace is 5 minutes away by walk!

The Wifi was not that strong in the room, didn't work that well. I didn't have any way to turn on the TV, no controller was found in the room. Besides those small inconveniences, the stay was perfect.
Room had plenty of space for the price it had. Even if it was a single room, the bed was huge and had space to spare. Great decoration inside the hotel with the use of black light and graffiti in the corridors.
