The rooms could use a little updating - they are fine, but nothing special.

The meals were great - a full range of classic Austrian cuisine, and there was always plenty of choice especially for the breakfast. The location also is great, one of the closest hotels to the main lift for the skiers in our group. The staff was very helpful as well, especially as we dealt with a ski injury for one member of our party. The town is also behind the hotel, but a lovely Alpine resort with good facilities, especially the thermal baths, as easy walk from the hotel.

It's old and not renovated hotel for some time. Inhouse spa was closed. Our room was really old school furnished with no balcony. Not possible to adjust temperature. Surprisingly no refrigerator in the room. Ventilation in the bathroom did not work. Not sure if all rooms are the same. But if this is 4 stars hotel, maybe it's time to revise the number of it. Felt like 3 stars or less.

It's amazing location. Close to sky lifts and Alpentherme. Lovely dinner and breakfast options. Premium partner of Alpentherme, so you have free entrance as a guest of the hotel. You get bathrobe and towels with the bag:) Probably good value for the price in Gastein.

The house wines were not great. A better range of wines at better prices would have been nice. No variation in the breakfast. Scrambled eggs the non hot item every day.

Entry to Alpine Spa next door was a treat. Good Efforts to create a nice Christmas atmosphere.

I booked the hotel through you on April 5 by offering a discount for a three-day stay. The money was transferred via my Master Card, with a discount, 225.21 EU. When I arrived at the Hotel Carintia from 15 to 17 April, the money from you was not transferred to the hotel. So I had to pay again for a stay at the Hotel Carinthia and that was full price cca 270 EU. We were called from the hotel at that time, and after several calls, you promised to revise the situation and then you will return the money to me. I paid twice for my stay at Hotel Carinthia through you with the promised discount and then the full price at the departure from Hotel Carinthia. The WLAN was really slowly. But it was not like it won't working the whole time. Maybe it depends by the Rooms?

The Dinner was really awesome :) Also the receptionist were very friendly and the hotel in total was clean with a good atmosphere Totally worth it
