The wi-fi had to be purchased. Eventually the reception desk was kind enough to grant us free wi-fi but it was super slow. The parking was also expensive though convenient.

The location was very good. Convenient and approachable. The room and the surroundings were very clean. Rooms were well lit and beds were comfortable as well.

Could not sleep at night, the room is oriented to the noisy street with traffic all night long. Windows are not soudproof. I also asked for the upper floor - got 3rd floor ( beds floors 2-7).

I definitely do not recommend this hotel. When booking, we had a request for two rooms next to each other, we were traveling with children. The hotel confirmed to me that they will fulfill this request. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it turned out that our rooms were very far apart. The staff was very unhelpful in the solution and in the end we did not have rooms next to each other. In addition, double the price for accommodation was blocked on our card - when booking via booking, a deposit, then another deposit. The billing system is very confusing. Be very careful when confirming the amount on the terminal.

The mattress was too high for wheelchair accessible room.. We had to sleep on our wheelchair the whole night. We came from Budapest to Vienna to Salzburg and the hotels use mattress that can detach the top layer to make it lower and possible for us to climb up the bed unassisted. We had no issue. Unlike day staff, the night staff was extremely unkind and not helpful. He said to us "it is your problem" and told us that he could call the ambulance should we fall while climbing up ! The plug point is positioned almost at the floor level, not easily reachable. The toilet needs two sides flexi bars. The night staff told us "we follow Austrian standard on access". Is the hotel catering to all international guests or just Austrian guests?

Location. Lighter door to the room. Reachable hair dryer. The toilet bar was light and flexible. Day time staff was helpful.

There was no information on booking.com or provided by staff before check-in that they will reserve 75€ on a card as deposit for every day of the stay. I was charged almost double for the stay that was only unblocked several days after check-out.

The hotel has a good location, close to the main train station and city center. Staff was friendly and otherwise helpful. Room was spacious, clean and had everything a person needs for a short stay.

Incompetent staff who received us in the night ,made me pass my card twice,approuved two times and a lot of discusion for this fault. Charged 75€ like warranty but not even drinks in the minibar. Luckily the second day a girl at the reception knows her bussiness and very friendly and professional. Now we will see if I was charged twice or not in a few days. I have been to a lot hotels and also other Marriott Hotels but this one was the worst by far.

Despite receiving a confirmation email through Booking stating that we would be accompanied by a child and a dog, the woman at the reception asked us if we had informed them in advance about bringing a dog(?) When we arrived in our room, I called the reception to inquire about the availability of a water bowl for our dog, even a simple plastic bowl would have sufficed. The receptionist seemed unaware and promised to check and get back to us. However, we never received a follow-up call. While I understand the need for pet fees, it would have been appreciated if the hotel had been more pet-friendly and at least informed us about the availability of a bowl or not.

The hotel's location was lovely, and the parking arrangement, with a direct entrance to the hotel, was convenient. Additionally, the room was impeccably clean.

It would be good to write on description that you can not make the checkin if you do not have a credit card to cover the deposit (room fee + 50eur) - no cash alternative for this and neither a debit card. Minibar was empty. No vanity kits in the bathroom. The bottle of shampoo was empty and shower gel scarce.

The hotel was nice but not a 4 star one like other Courtyard by Marriott hotels. The breakfast was fair, nothing special. Good location, 15min walk to the old center.
