Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Most gorgeous view of the town from the roof top terrace breakfast area. Accompanied by the great breakfast spread with good quality produce. The kids loved the personalized egg station and the choice of meats and fruits.

United StatesI wish the Sky Bar opened sooner than 9:00 am for breakfast. We did not buy breakfast plan but would have been happy to dine there a la carte. We just had so many things to do that we wanted to be on our way sooner.
Our room had a spacious bedroom and another room separated by a divider with desk on other side and couch and chair. We really loved this extra space to spread out in, especially since my sister got up early and worked on her computer but did not disturb me while I was still sleeping. The Sky Bar was fun and we had drinks there twice and ate there once. Wish we had time to try their other two restaurants. We enjoyed the sauna but be warned it is coed and towels are only used to sit on. Nice that the front desk had free water bottles and apples every day. Staff everywhere was super helpful and courteous.

United StatesRoom got hot and was hard to get the temperature right. Leaving the windows open was great for the temperature but it was way TOO noisy and I could not sleep, most nights due to that. Reception was great in attending to the issue. They were great! Aside from that everything else was Great!
Food was good, wine was great, location was great. Everything but room being hot or noisy... Reception was great in assisting immediately to the matter.

Very nice quality hotel that included an upscale rooftop restaurant with view of the fortress and a cellar bar/restaurant. We had a spacious, quiet 2 bedroom suite with large dressing room and bathroom with large tub, shower, and separate toilet room.Hotel is easy walk to both train station and historic part of town. Small gym avail. Somewhat quieter part of town but lots of shops and restaurants still.. we enjoyed the nearby Linzer gasse pedestrian street with lots of sidewalk cafes. Housekeeping every day. Appears to have A/C in warmer months. It was a great choice for our family.

AustraliaWe had booked to stay only for a couple of days, but due to the comfort of the hotel, the beautiful roof top restaurant and the kindness of your staff, we extended to stay for a whole week. There were four staff who stood out. The first was Jakob who was the first to greet us. He was very friendly and helpful and was so fast with our luggage! He has a great attitude and we immediately felt cared for. Secondly, Melissa on front desk, who was exceptionally helpful to us, welcoming and professional. Thirdly Marmata on front desk who helped us with a booking. She went out of her way to help us save money, which I feel went above and beyond. Lastly, we must mention your wonderful breakfast chef Ngurah. Every day he greeted us with a huge smile, he remembered which breakfast we liked and he would cook it immediately for us. We actually bumped in to him in the city and he was very friendly and remembered us. Huge congratulations to you and your team, we had a wonderful stay and will come back again next time we are in Salzburg.

When we arrived a lovely, friendly receptionist (unfortunately didn’t take her name) greeted us and gave us the wonderful news that our room was ready, even though it was hours before our check in time. The room was large, very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had dinner at The PitterKeller which was a lovely traditional restaurant with a great atmosphere. Brunch at The Sky restaurant was delightful - we sat outside on the terrace with the sun shining and fabulous views. We were so happy with this hotel choice.
