How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The blanket was a bit small for me.
Excellent location in the heart of Innsbruck. The staff member for check-in was helpful and smiling, the staf members at breakfast were also very helpful and nice, the breakfast was quite nice! The safe free parking is a plus.

The pillows were quite bad. We booked three rooms and in two of them the shower didn’t work so well
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. And it’s just a short walk away from the City center.

Bit noisy at night, but stops at some point.
Wonderful location, very helpful owners. Breakfast is ace! Rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Stayed in rooms just two minutes walk up the road from Hotel very modern and bright block . Has underground secure parking Which is the reason we stay here as we travel by motorcycle. This Hotel is very central and a 5 minute walk into centre.of Town. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Small fan in Room came in very handy. Stayed in hotel before and would stay again.

Small, simple, plain room. There was no A/C so the room got very hot and you couldn’t really keep the window open because of the traffic noise.
Easy location and free parking in a garage. Ok breakfast.

Bathroom is a little bit small, other than that everything was very good.
Great location, free parking next door, friendly receptionist and clean and comfortable room. Perfect for a short or a longer stay in Innsbruck :)

All was good, maybe some facilities may require some modernization and refurbishment but nothing really disturbed the stay.
Location is excellent, just on the riverside 5 minutes walk from old town. Room is with an nice, traditional twist and well thought details(blind curtains), comfy bed and pillows, breakfast relatively simple but everything of very good quality and very nicely served coffee. For very affordable price it was nice to see that the owners are not trying to save on the quality or comfort, the opposite was the case.

Nothing really. All was ok.
If I understand correctly, the hotel was founded by the grand-grand father of the current owner, and she's still owning and managing it, together with her husband. To me, this is amazing and deserves noticing. Location is extremely valuable: easy to reach and to depart from, and 5' walk to city center (a pleasant walk by the way: along the river, and through a small and joyful, alive park). The owners have been extremely friendly and helpful; staff was warm and nice. Our room was very nice, with a nice view, confortable, and functional.

Parking is at a different location, not very inconvenient, but good to know. It was very noisy, beacuse the hotel is on a main street, and basically it never gets quiet there. On Thursdays, around 6 am. they empty the trash cans on the street hecking loudly.
Breakfast was fabulous, very comfy beds and modern bathroom. I really liked the style and the location is very good, a few minutes walk from the historical center, surrounded with restaurants and pubs!
