Rooms kept very warm. Needed to open windows on the other hand the swimming pool water needs to be warmer.

Not the hotels fault - I should have looked closer at the description of hotel as it is dog friendly. While I love dogs, I am not that comfortable staying with other people’s furry friends. The common carpeted areas had a lot of dog hair and we were woken a few times by a dog barking in a neighbouring room which was something we just hadn’t considered or were used to - worth considering this if, like us, you don’t have a dog.

A spacious double room, modern hotel and well located. Bus service to the ski lift was super helpful as was the boot room. The restaurant and bar staff were fantastic - lovely service throughout our stay and even gave us suggestions for things to try which was a really nice experience for us. Food choices excellent and well worth the money. Beautiful spa & pool area to relax in after skiing.

Would be hard to find any. Great service in every aspect.

The service of the hotel went beyond every expectation. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is charming. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, had a nice view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast had a great variety, and the 5 meal dinner was absolutely the finest dining experience, accompanied by a great service from the whole restaurant team. And last but not least the wellness, with a dedicated sauna area, sauna infusions offered 4 times a day, that is also a top quality. We were in the pre-season, but the price–performance ratio is absolutely great.

The water in the pools were a bit too cold for me and my partner. The only thing that was missing for me was a jacuzzi which is not limited to sauna facility.

The cleanliness. A sort of modern approach on the traditional Alps tourism. Very refreshing.

had a really nice stay in Schladming. Great and courteous staff, modern facilities (would never have believed that the hotel is almost 11 years old) and most of all our dog loved it. It's not always easy to please our Austin. Thanks to the whole team for the warm hospitality!

Hard to navigate the room in the night without light as a big chair is placed infront of the bed and the walls to the toilet are glass. Knocked some toes those two nights :-) I have to admit that other Falkensteiner restaurants had better food, just a tad more flavour and more cripsyness on the fish. We wanted to book a -20% early bird massage treatment that was promoted at the spa reception for the hours between 10:30 and 14:00 but that only applies when booked before arrival. Unfortunately we did not know of that offer before standing at the spa reception nor did we find the massage program with pices online, had to pay full price. But was just as enojyable Dont know about the 10€ tipping flat rate per day taken at the reception. Hope it finds its way to the waiter, cooks, the cleaning staff & the massage threapist we had. Might be better to tip in cash

Beautiful hotel and rooms where very spacious, lots of space to store your bags. Balcony was very big as well, A look out during the night offers an amazing view at the stars. All the loungers around the garden area offer so much sun and privacy even on sunny fall days. Pool is not too big, gets a bit crouded but the sauna area is very nice, loved the cold plunge pool & ice. The food was delicious and there were always alternatives. Our server in the restaurant was very forthcoming and the cook at the breakfast bar in the morning was a delight :-) The breakfast and evening buffet was amazingly sorted (fell in love with those fluffy chocolate croisants) and as soon as someting was missing it got filled up. The staff is very hard working threre.

Everything! When you enter the hotel it smells like a spa, decor is all wood and simple, tasteful decorations, the breakfast buffet fantastic, swimming pool area, the staff - super friendly. Hotel is DOG-Friendly, they provided us with a mat, dog dishes and a complimentary snack
