Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel Hohlenstein exceeded all of my expectations! The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean with great bed. The breakfast was among the best I've experienced in all my travels. What truly stood out was the evident passion and attention to detail that went into creating this hotel. They've thought of everything, from providing umbrellas to a variety of amenities in the room. In my opinion, they deserve a solid 5-star rating. And yeah, SPA was also awesome and not too crowdy. Most of the times, we were the only ones there :)

Hotel Höhlenstein exceeded all expectations! Cozy rooms, very friendly staff and breathtaking views from the balcony were unforgettable. The delicious buffet breakfast provided a perfect start to each day and wonderful wellness was the highlight of every evening. Dinner was like from a Michelin-starred restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable and relaxing vacation.

United KingdomThe hotel had a wellness area (ie sauna and steam room) but seemed to be strict that no swimwear was allowed - which as a British person not used to getting naked was a bit of a disappointment (although appreciate it is a cultural difference).
Staff were helpful, despite some limited English, and for example arranged for us to have dinner at short notice when we arrived when the dinner service was due to shut 10 mins after we arrived. Really good food at dinner. Good food choice at breakfast as well. Hotel was in a good location for us as we had a car and it was a short drive to Hintertux ski area. We were also able to buy our lift passes at the hotel which was helpful.

The Staff ! Very friendly and helpful! Only 5 minutes with car from the ski slopes. Would recommend to ski at sunny weather in Hintertux and at cloudy weather in Tux. Food was delicious! Free parking!

Everything was great! The hotel is dog friendly. Bartenders, waiters and receptionists were super inquisitive and nice. The view from our room was insane! The hotel is close to the glaser, cozy and clean. The spa was awesome. The room - nice and spacious. Excellent chef in the restaurant. Our dinners were fantastic. Well, I can't find a thing which I didn't like, so, ten out of ten. If we are there again, I'll choose this hotel for sure.

AustraliaMy fault for not bringing my ear plugs, but the property is located on a busy road (in fact most of them in the area are!) and could be noisy at times.
Really loved our stay here! After long days hiking and skiing we didn’t need to leave the property. Comfortable clean room with really lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast is plentiful and the dinner in the evening is a must. The wellness area is also a lovely way to end the day after much activity. Our dog was also very welcomed. Felt like a home away from home!
