Nothing really, depending on your itinerary and mode of transport, the location is rather far from the ferry terminal to Hallstatt train station. But very near to the bus terminal.

Cosy house, big and comfortable room, although there was really no view from our room on the ground level. The breakfast was simple but warm, and the host Jacqueline was very hospitable.

The location was great - nice & quiet. Just out of the bustle of the town centre, but an easy 5 minute flat walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good start to the day of adventuring. Our room was extremely comfortable. The central heating worked well. Everything was very clean. Parking was close by, and we were able to unload & load our bags at the door of the hotel. Very convenient.

The hotel is at a very good location, near the lake and the salt mine. Ms Jacquelline is very friendly and helpful to us. She went out of her way to provide us an early breakfast. This place is highly recommended.

The area before entering our room smelt of cigarettes and the bathroom had a strong urine smell (but it was very clean bathroom apart from the smell)

Amazing trip! We had beautiful rooms side by side which were super comfortable and warm. Lovely hosts who were extremely helpful and friendly. Tasty breakfast with a good variety. Easy walk to town from the motel and easy walk from the ferry with luggage (we have hybrid rolly bags not 4wheel suitcases so that probably helped). Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Jacqui was amazing! Room was large, bright and very clean. Location was just a short walk from the main part of Hallstatt, right next to the Salt Mine. Breakfast was lovely and we really loved the bread! Would recommend staying here to anyone and we will be staying here next time we visit Hallstatt.
