Temperatures in the room were slightly at extremes (hot one end and ice on the window frame on the other). No kettle in the room. Limited space in the boot room. Early check-in time meant a bit of a rush from the airport.

Breakfast and dinner was good. It was a set menu each evening – slightly limiting for vegetarians, but the salad buffet helped. The staff were very friendly and helpful + they helped accommodate an extra guest with zero fuss. Communication was very straightforward. The rooms were spacious and met our needs for the trip. The included ski taxi was very helpful. Final payment was easy (credit card).

An amazing, warm family hotel with a tasty half board. The owners are helpful in every single situation, and can even arrange taxis for you to the ski lifts without extra charge. Loved it!

All inclusive: - excellent breakfast with many choices - lunch packet (you prepare what you want to take with you from the breakfast) - dinner very good, complete menu for every day (salads and starters, soup, main dish, dessert). Joker card is very helpful - many activities are free, we saved a lot of money. The hotel is on a hill. It means a peaceful place with a big garden and a pool, many activities like minigolf, ping-pong, kid's football, playground etc. Horse riding lessons (paid extra) really try to teach kids something, it is not only leading the horses around. You can save time with "wanderweg" from the hotel directly to the city center of Saalbach. Family hotel, all staff is very friendly.

Lovely hotel, with lovely staff, in an amazing location. Food was all great from Austrian buffet breakfast, to the evening meal, with large salad buffet, soup, generous mains and desert. Room was a great size, with a lovely window and balcony overlooking the mountains. Sauna was lovely (it is traditional Austrian (ie full nude!) for those less used to this!) Service for skiing was great - good ski/boot room to leave gear in, lovely piste down to the hotel, and taxi service to/from the slopes was amazing. Altogether great - would definitely come back again!

The food and drink was great - lots of it and lots of choice which is important when you're spending your days on the slopes! The staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was a little out of town, but a walkable distance and there was an efficient and free shuttle running during the hours that the lifts were operational. We felt this hotel offered good value for money.

Where to start? This hotel is the most wonderful, authentic and friendly place we have stayed at. The surroundings are beautiful. We woke up in the morning with a view of the mountains. All of the staff are exeptional and make you feel at home. The food was great They really made an effort since one of us is vegetarian. We went here to mountainbike and we could easily access both saalbach and hinterglem. Good facilities to keep bikes overnight. Would recommend anyone to go here for summer vacation. We will miss Liam, Luna and Teddy.

We had to listen to our kids complain for 6 hours on our way home to Germany that it was not fair we didn’t live at Altachhof.

The hotel was along the side of the mountain and was surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff was amazing. They set out decorations at our table for my daughters birthday. My kids were very fond of BeBe and Maya and followed them around the property. The food absolutely delicious. There were so many different activities to do at the property and our kids were never bored.

First of all, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a picturesque view to the mountains and was cleaned every day. Every morning free hotel taxi drove us to the ski lifts. And in the evening picked us up. Breakfast was great, it had everything (scramble eggs, fruits, plant milk, fresh vegetables, coffee machine, buns…). The hotel also has a ski equipment room and sauna.
