Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaWe stayed here in January 2024 for a week. Apartments are on the first and second floor, no elevator. On the ground floor, there is a room for skis and boots, that is heated, so, our boots were dry in the morning. No lockers. House is locked in the night, but you have your own key to enter. Apartment is (or feels like it is) a brand new. Everything was super clean. Bed sheets and towels were provided, and we were offered new towels in case we need them. Apartment was for non-smokers. There is a very big terrace. It is located on a main road, very easy to access. Parking places are covered with a (massive) wooden roof, so no need to clean snow from your car. Hosts are kind, but we didnt speak much, because they don't speak English, and I barely speak German. I couldn't fully understand their directions how to separate trash, so I just did my best. It is just across a ski lift, maybe 5 min walk in ski boots. Kals is a village, so not much going on here. There is exactly one grocery store, not working on Sundays. It is quite big. You could feel the smell of cows and sheeps from time to time, but we didn't have much problem with that.

United KingdomThe balcony has only a small table and two dining chairs, and the table is fixed to the wall right next to the washing line, so one person has to sit facing the wall while the other faces the view. Such a shame with such an amazing view! There was only one 'comfy' chair in the apartment and that was in the bedroom, so the second person has to sit on the bed or around the kitchen table in another room. Kitchen was very basic and the pans were wobbly and did not sit well on the electric hob. However, tea towels and washing up things are provided and there is soap provided in the bathroom.
